Omah Lay Biography: Omah Stanley Didia, also known professionally as Omah Lay, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter from Port Harcourt. He is signed to KeyQaad and Sire Records, both of which are subsidiaries of Warner Music Group, and he also has a 5-track EP titled “Get Layd.” He made his debut in the music industry with the song “You,” which is still a favorite of most Afrobeats fans. In 2021, he received the coveted Next Rated Award at the 14th Headies Music Awards.

The Didia family has a long history of music appreciation. Omah Lay’s paternal grandfather was a drummer for Celestine Ukwu, a major Highlife act. So Stanley’s parents were not surprised when their son decided to pursue a career in music.
