A former governor doesn't have grassroots? So how did he become governor?

You guys are clowns.

He became a Governor because of the influence of Ikemba's party, APGA.
He later abandoned APGA and moved to PDP and in the process, APGA grassroot supporters did not port with him when he moved to PDP.

He can campaign for his candidate. He can campaign against his candidate's opponent.

By why the obsession with Mr Peter Obi? He is not the only one vying for the Presidency.

Peter Obi is not Buhari and neither is he GSM. You get?

Yeah, I get. But on a lighter note, how was your children's day celebration? I learnt some folks spotted you in a stadium somewhere in the SW marching with some primary school kids in a children's day parade. grin grin grin grin Seems you are beginning to know your place. grin grin

Obi is no longer really after winning the election, but as a real man, there is no big deal in trying. At least Labour party could win some seats in the next year election due to his influence

If you actually believe what you wrote, then you don’t know Peter Obi. Nobody knows APGA in Anambra state when he won the election with it. I am very certain that he will give it his all to win the presidency. He believes he can do it, even when all the odds are against him. I have studied the man for so long and I have never seen a person self driven like him. I am not saying he is going to win, but trust me, Obi believes he is going to win

I think events of recent years have thought Nigerians a bitter lesson not to vote for political parties again but the candidates themselves, unless the elections are rigged massively which could be a bit difficult this time given the electronic voting introduced, any candidate can win the presidential race in the forthcoming, my only fear is the northerners who often vote like cows to any candidates endorsed by their Emirs and imams. This doesn't discount the fact that big political parties like APC and PDP don't have their hardcore supporters who will vote for them no minding the candidates presented on the ballots.

Is it about making a good showing or winning the election?

Good showing too is very important. If Labour Party somehow amass 11 million votes that makes them the biggest opposition in town
Re: Reno Omokri Reacts To Peter Obi's Defection To Labour Party by Hadassah2021: 7:35am On May 28, 2022
My own take is it's high time Nigerians try something different apart from both failed political parties (PDP & APC). Anybody that wants progress for this country will not consider any of the two parties for they've been tested for years and failed woefully. Same old and fake promises always during campaign. Enough is enough

Reno is just pained that PO is leaving the PDP,but the truth remains like what PO said on channels and I quote "I am not desperate to be a president, I am not desperate to get any party's ticket, I am only desperate to see Nigeria work'

That is what we need.

Truth be told, Obi and Osinbajo are the best candidates for the job. If Osinbajo wins APC ticket, I will vote for him. Otherwise, wherever Obi goes, there I go also. I'm tired of the suffering under Bihari.

Anyways, I don't see Obi winning the presidential election in 2023.

Obi exit from pdp will surely reduce pdp chances in SE so Reno/pdp are worried.

U are only there for ur stomach. PO can never be ur mate politically, financially, economically, etc. Better know that and have peace. Ewu mpama
