Tmberwolf1: Airtel is not the only ISP in Nigeria. Every ISP in Nigeria is way cheaper than whatever Starlink can offer. Don't waste your money 1 Like 2 Shares |

Tmberwolf1: It will do away with GSM calls while at home or in the office (did somebody say "VOIP?''), completely replace cable and satellite TV, seriously boost work from home, IoT, smart home security....... It's a bargain for those who can use it to the fullest! 3 Likes |

Re: Elon Musk’s STARLINK Approved By Nigeria by MartinsD12(m): 9:41am On May 28, 2022 |
Topmaike007:Airtel mifi is 5000 with 70 to 80gb data and 10k with up to 120gb plus data, even on MTN I get data deal's on 3500 for 24k , Airtel 3k for 20gb it's cheaper I don't think data is expensive with MTN and Airtel it's just poor network issues we are having, so Elon musk should better make it 10gb for 1k monthly if he really want to crash data prices more if not it's expensive more than what we have already 1 Like |

MartinsD12: Some home and businesses pay that much. When you say ‘Nigerians can’t pay…’, it’s ambiguous. Some Nigerians pay upwards of 21k monthly for their DSTV subscription right? Does that mean every Nigerian pays that much? Of course there are lesser/cheaper plans. Most definitely there would be cheaper data/internet plans by Starlink 1 Like |

iLoveYouToo: My brother, thanks for the last paragraph. Many people don't actually know most people are not as broke as it is being reported or portrayed. When it comes to technology and value for money, you will be surprised how people will rush for subscription. 2 Likes |

iLoveYouToo:We looking at generality of the country those who own smartphones are you aware there are people who don't have 500 naira to subscribe data , any body who pays 21k on DStv plus data is definitely comfortable or rich enough to pay for these things we are looking at average Nigerians with 30k or 25k monthly intake 2 Likes |

MartinsD12 it depends on what you want and what you need the internet for. You see all those government parastatals, ministries, the military etc, they pay millions on internet yearly. NGOs, medium to large corporations too, even some homes. You underestimate the power of Nigerias population. Stop believing most Nigerians are poor, na scam. 2 Likes |

MartinsD12: No sir, Starlink isn’t coming to monopolize internet service provision, they’re only coming to carve a niche (market share) for themselves. Have you ever subscribed to Smile’s 4G services Or DOTMAC? I guess not, but they’re here doing business and making billions 1 Like |

Re: Elon Musk’s STARLINK Approved By Nigeria by MartinsD12(m): 9:52am On May 28, 2022 |
iLoveYouToo:Smile 4G is a private internet provider , majority of Nigerians doesn't use it , it's reserved mainly for the business class, when it comes with data consumption it's always MTN , Airtel ,glo or 9mobile that comes to ncc monthly data report because they are catering for the majority of Nigerians which is why MTN, Airtel glo is so rich because they believe in carrying everyone alone , smile 4G how many states are they even covering or have services self it doesn't count 2 Likes 1 Share |

Some services aren’t meant for everyone. Do you have fiber optics at home? I don’t but there are fiber optics companies in Nigeria breaking even yearly 4 Likes 1 Share |
