Bankole Solomon Adebiyi and Dapo Omoluabi Pataki Team (DOPT) group has congratulated Distinguish Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola on his victory in the primary election held today 28th, May 2022. In a congratulatory message, Bankole said Adeola's resounding victory in Ogun West Senatorial District primary election is an affirmation of his widely-acknowledged sterling performance as a legislator in Alimosho and Lagos West in Lagos State. In his words, Bankole said “Today, the All Progressives Congress (APC) members and delegates in Ogun West rose in their large numbers to exercise their democratic rights. “294 delegates was accredited, 294 delegates voted, Senator Solomon Olamilekan got 294 votes while Senator Tolu Odebiyi got no vote. The delegates voted massively to give Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola a clear mandate to contest for Senate in Ogun West Senatorial District. “The delegates decision was expressed in very unambiguous and unmistaken terms and therefore, I, Hon. Bankole Solomon Adebiyi wholeheartedly congratulate and rejoice with him (Adeola) on his primary election victory. Furthermore, the Publicity Secretary of Dapo Omoluabi Pataki Team (DOPT), a political group with progressive and democratic members in Ado-Odo/Ota local government said that Adeola's victory was also an expression of confidence the teeming party members, leaders and elders in Ogun West had in his ability and capacity to propel the Senatorial District to greater height in terms of quality and progressive development in line with the "Building Our Future Together Agenda" of our Amiable Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR. The group Publicity Secretary, Comr. Dada Bryth commended the Governor and leadership of the party for ensuring the success of the primary election in Ogun West and for effectively putting the necessary measures in place in the electoral process. According to Comr. Bryth, the party members also deserve praise for not only conducting themselves in an orderly manner but for ensuring that their choices are expressed freely, fairly, and unreservedly in both the House of Assembly and House of Representative seat within the Senatorial District. Hon. Bankole also applauded security personnel for creating an environment which enabled the primary election to be conducted peacefully. Bankole noted that, Senator Solomon Olamilekan submitted himself to the good people of Ogun West and the people’s power had prevailed, adding that Adeola's commitment to democracy, non-violent elections, nation building, total loyalty to the party and party supremacy was particularly remarkable. Hon. Bankole who contested for the seat of Ado-Odo/Ota local government chairman in the last Ogun LG poll said “With the performance of Governor Dapo Abiodun's administration and with what APC have achieved in this State, there is no candidate that APC will present that will not win election. Bankole who believes that after the primary election, the leader of the party, Governor Dapo Abiodun and other leaders in the State would set up a team that would work to ensure that the party wins the 2023 general election. In a jubilation mood, Senator Olamilekan described his victory as evidence of grace and wish of the people. He called on all party faithful to support his victory and the new drive to consolidate on the achievements of Dapo Abiodun's administration within the Senatorial District. He said: “It is not victory for Yayi, It is victory for the party and It is not just victory for the party, but victory for moving Ogun West and our dear Gateway State forward.
