IPOB Sit-at-home Grounds Imo by gidgiddy: 11:15am On May 31, 2022
In what appears to be a sustained struggle for the release of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, motorists, markets, business centres, schools, filling stations, and banks all went on holiday on Monday in various parts of Imo State.

While the roads, motor parks, and relaxation centres were empty, some desperate Okada riders were seen in some areas taking frustrated passengers to their various destinations at exorbitant fares.

In the Aboh Mbaise, Mbaitoli, Ikeduru, Owerri West, Ngor Opkala, and Njaba council areas, the picture was the same as the markets, and stores were placed under lock and key while the residents stayed in-doors.

Expectedly, the presence of security men including armed mobile policemen in their vehicles was heavy, as they patrolled the major roads to maintain peace and order.

Our correspondent who monitored the situation reports that some drivers of the Imo City transport buses, who dared the IPOB order, operated through the bush part to avoid the wrath of the supporters of IPOB.

Our correspondent who monitored the situation reports that some drivers of the Imo City transport buses, who dared the IPOB order, operated through the bush part to avoid the wrath of the supporters of IPOB.

Some of the commercial vehicle drivers who parked their vehicles, and discussed the situation, lamented the situation which they said had continued to impose hardship on their families even as they appealed to the Federal Government to expedite action on the release of Nnamdi Kanu.

There are two Igbos now. One of them announced extra days as stay at home in addition to the one officially announced by IPOB. We need to distinguish between them.

So what exactly did u create the post for we already know that the south east is inviteing hardship and poverty on their low class indigenes its not news na.

A big man will give the other the poor will obey and suffer, while the big man that gave the order is drinking in one cool joint somewhere in town.

while the follower is at home listening to nagging from his wife and loud noise from his children thinking about what they will eat and how GOd should give him money to pay their school fees as if it was GOD who said they should go and at home.

Its their headache i support secession but not type that renders the people poor or that which will make them lose their life.

Make una no mind me na cruise o dey

I passed through Owerri, enroute Aba from Onitsha about an hour ago.

Your story is a big lie. Owerri is busy. Even Aba is as busy as Tuesdays.

gidgiddy , You are an IPOB member. I thought you said sitting at home is not forced, that it is done voluntarily. Why are Igbo drivers using bush paths to avoid IPOB supporters?

Shame on all Ipob supporters supporting the continuous sit at home in SE.

Only never do well people would ground the economy of her region down just because one albino is incarcerated

The battle in SE now is between Ipob ( Illiterates people of Biafra )and Epob ( Educated people of Biafra)

The real question we should be asking is why it is only IPOB related matters you comment on? Or didnt you have a life before there was IPOB?

Goodnews.
IPOB must continue to enforce this sit at home and they must increase their criminal activities in the East. Till Buhari, Tinubu and the North beg Igbo for forgiveness. grin
