He started the cobble stone roads allover Victoria Island in a road resurfacing drive, to help cater to the beach soil condition in that area. I remember Akin Adesola Str, Adeola Odeku Str, Ajose Adeogun Str as some of those touched. I remember how marveled I was at the quality of the job done while internship hunting in 2007.

On the mainland, he also revamped Oba Akran Road in Ikeja which was my daily route to school in the early 2000's, Oregun Road (Kudirat Abiola), Ijeshatedo Road in Surulere where I sat for my JAMB UME in the early 2000's also, are some of the many roads that featured in his achievements leading to re-election in 2003.

You re getting me wrong, the roads construction is a novel venture, but there is need to populate that area, normally roads are built to open up populated places in a state, this brings development.

When you build roads in an unpopulated place, you create avenues for criminal elements to hide and commit crimes.

I was once on the Tinubu/ Lagos is the greatest hype train until i went to other states and travelled out. I became depressed for a while just knowing our lives were substandard. Its not about having money.

Those supporters who are making noise praising their Jagaban, are really blind to reality. There was no significant developments we could point out during his 8 years tenure. Yet they keep hailing him, why he is busy siphoning public money and taxes that are meant for infrastructures and other developments

Lagos state could have been the best city with modern amenities like mono rail, beautiful roads and etc, setting the standards for other states of Nigeria to copy but a stumbling block like Their Jagaban and his bullion van will not allow progress to work.

I marvel at your display of ignorance in the first paragraph I quoted. Reason being that you deviated from the State(Akwa Ibom State) being discussed to your "ghost" state and using that as a comparison to Lagos.
Akwa Ibom State from the has always been on the forefront of developmental strides, irrespective of the man in power, you know so little of the state, so I'll ask you to continue in the circle of your ghost state and Lagos and leave Akwa Ibom State out of your comparison.

Even with the little I know about Akwa-Ibom, I know many giant strides were achieved in infrastructure, especially by the Godswill Akpabio regime. I have no reason to begrudge Akwa-Ibom, but would find it foolish that because Akwa-Ibom came alive in the 2000s, the road needs of Akwa-Ibom should be compared to the road needs of a megalopolis Lagos.

Akwa-Ibom needs new express roads, while Lagos needs roads expansion.

There is nothing about ghost state or city where I reside. It is my prerogative to disclose my actual location. I have lived and worked in Abuja also, and the quality of roads is no better than in Lagos.

One of the reason why i always pray that APC should never win in that state. The have just only one contractor "Julius Berger", that was why they have the best road network in Nigeria.
