A police officer attached to the Anti Robbery team of the Kwara State Command, Inspector Aigbobahi Ogbemudia, is undergoing an orderly room trial for assaulting traders.

The officer was caught in a video assaulting one Adeleke Ridwan and his elder brother, Habeeb, both clothes sellers in Ilorin.

It was gathered that the victims were accosted by the team for a routine check but were manhandled and slapped by Ogbemudia.

Confirming the incident in a statement on Thursday, June 2, spokesperson of the command, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, said the arrest and orderly room trial was ordered by the Commissioner of Police, Tuesday Assayomo. .........Read more
