I will like us to list firms created by the Regional Governments of Western, Eastern and Northern Regions of the 50's and 60's from those that have gone into extinction to those still surviving and operating.
Western Region: Odua Investment Corporation which still have the following operating fully Wema Bank, Cocoa Industries Limited, WemaBod Estates still managing Cocoa house at Ibadan, Western House at Lagos and other Properties, the western hotels still managing Bashorun Hotels at Ibadan, Lagos Airport Hotels and another one at Apata in Ibadan, Nigerian Wire and Cables which Odua holdings still have a controlling interest, LAFARGE Portland Cements at Ewekoro which Odua Holding is still controlling over 35% of its Share Capital. There are many more which i may not know or remember, if you know of one not listed here, please list it. I will also implore my brothers from other Regions to List Surviving Firms or Investments still being controlled by their states and still operating profitably.

I can remember that Odua telecoms have been liquidated though it was created in this Republic.
