Adulthood Na Scam!!! What's Your Take On This? by KelvinRukky(m): 8:02am On Jun 03, 2022 |
Adulthood na scam! Going through the lyrics of Molade's song, I think in my opinion the title is wrong because the things she recounted in her song are the things that happen normally in adulthood. Not once have we been brainwashed that it's something else. What did you think she meant when she said Adulthood na Scam? Share your opinion. |

Which one is Molade again? What about Aduke? The same industry where Aduke didn't shine is where one froggy is one of their best in the industry. By the way, why always Yorubas dominating the music industry? Monopoly kills talent. Variety and diversity is spice of life. Why always froggy and wizcrap when other tribes have people who can sing better. |

KelvinRukky:Adulthood isn't a scam. It becomes a scam when you're not properly prepared before going into it. Most youths today go into adulthood without any plan, and resort to cries, depression, suicide...etc, when the realities of adulthood begins to choke them. This is why the youths of our generation need to step up and become more responsible. Life doesn't revolve around sex, alcohol and quick riches, if you don't plan for tomorrow, your today would be miserable. |

Reality3080:You only pay bills of relative when you have an it's not a must...one must always do what he or she is capable of doing.. adulthood is not a scam because nobody told you that when one become an adult he or she we have all what they desire.... infact while growing up I was told that to become a man is not a day job, so how is it a scam? |

akeem0706514:Exactly my point! No one ever told us that adulthood was a smooth and easy going stage of life. We learn and see every day that it is full of responsibilities whether you're rich or poor. A scan is something somebody paints to be beautiful and rewarding only to find out at the end it's not. In the case of adulthood and in Nigeria particular, nobody has ever fantasized adulthood. 1 Like |

Seems some of you have not understood the idea behind the song.... Growing up as kids, many of us had this impression that "growing up comes with so much freedom, independence and an opportunity to do and undo as we please". Growing up from that stage of CHILDHOOD (Toddler to early teens), we realize then than with all the freedom we had imagine also comes the responsibilities needed to earn it. Nobody go dash you free money - A child is always excited when visited by an Uncle or Aunt because you'll likely be gifted some cash gifts to buy all that matters to you in the world - which at that time was sweets, biscuits and toys; but if an Uncle or Aunt visits you now as an adult, be ready to spend too. .....so it's not that we were lied to, "It's the fairytale world about being an adult which we grow up with as babies, that is the scam" 2 Likes 1 Share |

Stephen0mozzy:The lyrics of the song makes a lot of meaning but the use of the word scam is the issue based on its meaning. It's like writing a great story but with a misleading title. Like you said, a fairytale or fantasy isn't equivalent to a scam. |
