Reno Omokri, a Nigerian activist and former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, received a lot of backlash from Hollywood actresses, Tonto Dikeh and Nkechi Blessing. This happened after Reno made a political comment about Tinubu.

This came as a surprise to a lot of netizens because political matters and entertainment scandals rarely get mixed together in Nigeria. While Reno is a popular political analyst, Nkechi Blessing and Tonto Dikeh are entertainers.

It all started when Reno compared the recent outburst of APC Presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Jagaban), to the recent scandals involving Nkechi Blessing and Tonto Dikeh. Read what he tweeted below;

"Tinubu is just behaving like Tonto Dikeh and Nkechi Blessing." Like a woman who was promised marriage and jilted, and is now exploding and exposing the jilter. Buhari does not buy the market. He either builds another "other room" for Tinubu, or marries him as promised.

This was not unconnected to Tinubu's visit to the delegates in Abeokuta. Recall that Tinubu was dragged on social media for claiming that he brought Dapo Abiodun to power, sacrificed his ambition to recommend Yemi Osinbajo as the VP, and also played a pivotal role in the emergence of Buhari as the President of Nigeria.

However, Tonto and Nkechi were greatly offended by the comparison. Both actresses took to their Instagram stories to respond to Reno.

Nkechi wrote, "I used to think you have sense, but it is obvious that you lack common sense." Why put me in this context in the first place? Welcome to Nigeria, where "when a relationship ends, it is automatically the man that left the woman." Mr. Reno, leave my name out of your mouth. Don't let God punish you, respectfully."

Tonto, on the other hand, was a bit more direct and confrontational. He referred to Mr. Reno Omokri as "Atiku's Houseboy" and "Baba's Bingo". He also dared Reno to come back to Nigeria if he was sure of himself.

Nobody should Reno serious. To even refer to him as a pastor is an insult.
