The problem with soludo is that he's too confrontational... There are some issues that you ignore or you follow diplomatically.. A lot of people have been there before you and they managed and conducted themselves very well to avoid creating or escalating the problem on ground.

This is how he started putting his mouth on Ipob/UGM,ESN afairs a week after his inauguration.. He tried to stop a sit at home that has existed before he became a governor by conducting mass on Monday to put a stop at sit at home.

What happened after that, ? Anambra state became hotter than he met it because enemy of Igbos will capitalize on it and start unleashing terror on Igbo land.. Now we don't know who's actually behind the attack in the East. How can devil be sleeping you decided to wake him just to be seen as a pragmatic governor ? When Obiano was there insecurity was not this bad because Obiano himself was focusing on governance and paid less attention to some irrelevant issues..
We said this on nairaland but we were insulted..
Soludo should knw his priorities..
What would he gain from replying this influential priest now ?

It's obvious Soludo doesn't know those that elected him into power..

Keep on with your oversabi nonsense let's see where it would lead you.. !!!

Insecurity was not that bad indeed with mass murder in Ozubulu and Ihiala and UGM almost made it impossible for governorship election to be hold in Anmabra state last year it took heavy mobilization of security forces to subdue them before election could go on but not before they have killed so many including Dr. Chike Akunyili and they almost succeeded in killing Soludo yet there no anger by the people and condemnation from so called man of God.No killing or insecurity is better than the other whether it is coming from UGM or herdsmen.

I doubt the authenticity of this piece. This is too confrontational for a governor to pen down. At least not in Anambra where Catholic priests are seen as Gods.

I don't think Soludo said this.
Could be the work of trouble makers, though Soludos achilles hills has always been his arrogance.
It's foolhardy joining issues with a Catholic reverend as revered as this one.
Jump and pass is the way.
If you keep going back and forth with every personality and group, it will backfire no mater how popular you are.
Thought he learnt one or two with his bloody confrontations with IPOB

Soludo gave him the appropriate response and his words are full of intelligence and maturity.

The priest was playing to the gallery disrespecting the office of the governor with his preaching. Didn’t he know how to contact Soludo and make the revelations know to him?

If he got the divine revelation, he should assist government to fish them out. God would not give him incomplete prophecy.

You people should stop worshiping men. You are part of the problem.

Catholic Church is not the only denomination in Anambra state.

Governor Soludo was elected by Ndi Anambra, not just by members of the Catholic Church of which Soludo himself is a member.

You have to use PVC to vote. Until you can prove that those who voted with their PVC are mostly Catholics, you have said nothing.

65% of Ndi Anambra are not members of Roman Catholic Church. It used to be split between Catholic (ndi fada) and Anglicans (ndi cms) with some Methodist and a few members of Christ holy church Odozi obodo but late 80s and early 90s, Adeboye’s RCCG, Oyedepo’s Winners faith, Kumuyi’s Deeper life took a huge chunk. Conservative Igbo Christians still attend Catholic and Anglican churches but their kids are all over RCCG, Winners etc.

In some towns like Nnewi, there might be a significant proportion of Catholic Church members more than Anglican and others, in Ekwulobia, I think it’s split 50-50 or more anglicans even, in Oko, there are more Anglicans.

Catholic Church members of which you might belong to should stop acting like northern Muslims. Your clergy men are not saints. They are liable to make mistakes. We have seen that so many times. Mbaka is controversial, before him, there was father Ede, then Ebube muonso who once went to some shrines and burnt them. Live and let live.
You call Mohammed names but get offended when your Rev fathers misfire and get called out.

Anambra is for all. Catholic Church has a huge legacy in Anambra but it is only a part of the state.
A lousy or controversial Muslim or pastor who makes provocative statement can be criticised or invited by the state security to explain their rhetorics. Your men of God are no exception.

We Ndi Anambra are with Governor Soludo. We not only pray for his success, we will back him up in any way that we can.

Soludo’s success is Anambra’s success.

Stop wishing him bad.

The statistics i provided might be wrong but it's a truism that Catholic denomination is most populous amongs other denominations in anambra and they influence what happen in the polity as the masses revere them more than the government officials. Anambra Catholic church wing doesn't like Soludo the way they love obiano because the former is miser unlike obiano thats a spendthrift.
Catholic church can conspire to get solud0 out 0f office if his plans are not in correlation with theirs.

Ebube Mounso is an ardent Ipob supporter and he doesn't like the way soludo is arresting them

You are a big fool for saying this.

Insecurity due to unknown gunmen was very high in anambra under obiano especially in Anambra south.obiano did nothing.

Soludo is gradually dealing with them and I'm happy for that.

Nice to see a sane voice amongst the cacophony of senselessness and inexplicable hate! I’m with Governor Soludo 100%! Right from the murder of his security detail during the campaign, and the factional challenges in APGA he faced before the election (both tele-guided by powerful outside forces), it’s clear there are some who never wanted him to be governor to begin with, and they’re presently engaged in doing their bloodstained utmost to try and make the state ungovernable for him!

The problem is that when these type of threads that concern Governor Soludo or Anambra appear, all these hateful Igbo wannabes and impostors (some with multiple monikers) will full the thread with their crass stupidity, conjecture and false narratives, thereby making it hard for sensible and genuine Igbo like you to get a word in!
