HSE Supervisor urgently needed at Polysmart Packaging Ltd, a manufacturing company in located in Ota.

*Responsibilities*
• Develop Safety Management Policies
• Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
• Liaising with relevant authorities such as OGEPA, NESREA, etc. to maintain a working knowledge of their requirements.
• Coordinate Learn from incident (LFI) meetings in conjunction with senior management to prevent incident reoccurrence.
• Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
• Provide both assistance and backup for the various assignment of safety and environment projects.
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
• Investigate accidents or incidents near misses to discover causes
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
• Conducting all in-house training for staff on Job Task and Safety matters like Tool Box meeting
• Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics
• Enforce safety rules and procedures to achieve zero incident and injury free workplace
• Conduct routine drills to test Emergency preparedness for all likely emergency scenarios for all staff

*Requirements*
• HND / B.sc in any science discipline
• Between 5-7 experience in Manufacturing Sector
• NEBOSH, ISPON, GHSE and Level 3 competency
• Fit to resume within 2 weeks*
