Bro... good buy. Not an owner... just observer. These vans are work horses.... American cars... problems... same company produces excellent commercial vehicles. On yours... maybe 15 plus years old. From observation... it was owned by a plumbing company.... not a private individual. Companies regularly service their vehicles ... and change whatever needs to be changed ... replacing with OEM parts ... not substitutes. You said the engine runs very quiet....because it was well maintained and serviced on time. Check the radiator... you will see coolant and not water. It is for you to keep up with servicing... regardless of cost. Link up with other owners to find competent shops and genuine spare parts. If push comes to shove... import directly from the US... avoid actual dealers. From my observation... these vans will haul whatever you can load... I've seen them often hauling scrap iron ... pallets of cement and other building materials ... water and goods to supply businesses.. etc. Most do have the floor covered with a sheet of plywood. With the more powerful V8 engine... you may even add a tow bar and be hauling a trailer. Don't expect it to be sipping fuel with such a huge engine... budget for it. The better tuned your engine... the better the fuel economy. Great buy!

I paid for it 1.4m, gave the ford mechanic 8k to service it (Nozzle and oil change), and also bought gear oil and engine oil. Then I gave it a small body wash

In all, I spent about 1,430,000. Now vehicle speeds like mad, and is a Rear wheel drive.

So all I need to do is panel beater work. I'm budgeting like 200k for it.

So all in all, this vehicle at 1,630,000 is an excellent buy.

The Gear box of that Ford econo250 is the real problem, make sure you use the right specified gear oil. The engine is very strong ie good. Only that it consumed more fuel. Enjoy your Ride.

you just bought a mad dog. Just listen to the bus and maintain it properly. Ours is 10 years now. Very good buy. The movement is not of this world
