How To Process Death Benefits In Nigeria by superboyspecial: 2:46pm On Jun 11, 2022 |
Hello, Nairalanders. Please, have you tried processing the death benefits and pension of someone who worked at the Nigeria Security & Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) before his death? How did you go about it and how long did it take to be processed? I'm trying to process that of my late dad and would appreciate any guidance or information. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Sorry for the loss of your father, may God rest his soul. On this issue you have presented, the payment for burial expenses is not usually an immediate payments reason being that the file will go through different channels within the organisation he died and it's usually processed by the next of kin of the deceased. I think you people should be doing follow up to know where the file has reached, once it has gotten to accounts/treasury department the money will be paid. And once the money has been paid, the next of kin will apply for terminal benefits just the way she applied for burial expenses. And to my own understanding, we ask for letter of administration if the deceased next of kin is different from the one on the record of service. I wish you all the best 31 Likes 1 Share |

superboyspecial: Start from the command where he worked last, you will be told of what documentation to present and how to start the application You will be referred to his bank to get letter of non indebtedness You will be referred to national housing to get letter on non indebtedness When all this are set before it will be packaged and sent to Abuja If you wish, you can request from them that you will prefer to take it to Abuja and ask then to direct whom to give it to or the the office to take it to in Abuja, so that when you get there you make contact with the people that will handle it and come back then keeping in touch with them By the time it gets to probably the secret Registry, that's when they will know who he uses as next of kin then they will request for the person to come over If you guys are unfortunate he uses his wicked brother, that's another kettle of fish because it has to be given to anyone that is the NOK I am not speaking for his office but I just gave you an idea of what to encounter 15 Likes |

superboyspecial: The one I do since October last year till now IBTC pension never pay the money. Initially, its if he drop will or not. If not, you'll go to law court to get a doc liks that (forgotten the name). With that doc it makes you a bonafide receptor of the benefits - usually its u and your mom But I sha wish you goodluck in this. 2 Likes |

If it is under anambra state especially during the reign of Peter obi, it will be hard oo bcox Peter don use the money of most pensioner to establish terrorist Igbos to cause unrest in the east.. This is why Peter obi must not be allowed... Soludo spoke and the next day, Peter obi boys went to his home town. God forbid we have a terrorist like obi as our president The opposition finding a possible way to defeat the inevitable Tinubu presidency. 3 Likes 1 Share
