So true!

And just like Abiola never got rule this country despite his servitude to the north and after throwing money around….

So, too, will Tinubu never rule this country in Jesus name, Amen.

Before you come under my mention to display your stupidity, foolishness, irrationality, illiteracy and shortsightedness, go and first attack Yahaya Bello who drew the similarities.

Ndi ala!

Just as Ojukwu never won elections so shall Obi Pandora never get near the presidency

Buhari was also predicted not to complete his 4 years tenure talkless of 8 years because of his old age and health weakness. Yet he has completed both and still standing. You people fail to understand that Leaders, CEO's, top managements don't do the work. They delegate and the work gets done. The ministers, HOD's etc who are appointed gets the job done, not the President himself. So when people are emphasizing on Tinubu's supposed sickness, I tend to wonder. Who isn't sick anyway?
after that than how is nigeria right now

If you don't like Tinubu give us rational reasons to convince us not to like him as well.Stop bringing Jesus' name into political matters.Jesus doesn't belong to APC,PDP or LP.

He was loved for his philanthropy. Another thing about him was his doggedness. He refused to be cheated out of his mandate, and preferred to remain in prison than roam free under continued military rule. And lastly, think of him as a charismatic leader.

Fortunately, he never became president because the chances are high that he would have ruined his good name.

But then, there are some people who can never do wrong. People like Nelson Mandela. I have read about his many critics, including Bishop Tutu, who did not think he was a good president. But Mandela, good president or not, will always be idolised.

Why this useless Yaya Bello is comparing a good hearted man to dubious man, how old was Yaya Bello when abiola was displaying good job with stealing government money & now because he wan to materialist from Tinubu money & the scetch his upcoming government which he's going to have under his roof , is that the reason of Abiola comparations. BY THE SPECIAL GRACE OF GOD, OBI HAS COME TO STAY.. I'M A YORUBA MAN.. TINUBU CAN'T RENDER ANY GOOD DEED PASS BUHARI.

If tinubu were to be physically fit and healthy, I might not have a problem with his candidacy.

If the youth shouting peter obi online can replicate whatever sensitization they are doing in lagos in other states, then they might have a chance for their choice of candidate.

Unfortunately Lagos alone cannot win elections unless the below criteria is met.

1. Highest number of votes
2. Win 2/3 states out of the 36 states

The question sorosoke should be asking his can they achieve these two criteria?
who told you that the OBIdient gospel of retaking the country by the youth is only propagated in Lagos? It's everywhere bro

It's true... NADECO easily comes to mind, Tinubu is the protege of Sir Jakande. Tinubu has done no one wrong, he is not tribalistic nor nepotistic, he is smart and a technocrat. Lagos is his testimony and score card. Don't be blinded by bias.

Some people get oil for head for nairaland. You nailed it man. How are we sure he was going to be a good president? Someone that sponsored Coup.

He sponsored two coups, but does that make him a bad person?

First, he sponsored the 1983 coup that brought Buhari into power because he (Abiola) came to know that the North was aversed to power shifting South. In fact, the North wanted power to stay permanently in the North, and Abiola thought if he didn't do something, power will remain in the North. The 1983 coup brought in Buhari and a Southerner (Idiagbon). But due to his personal friendship with Babangida, Abiola sponsored another coup (1985) that brought his friend (Babangida) to power.

In 1993, believing that finally all his efforts will pay off with power shift to the South, Abiola's hopes were dashed.

My dad was in the military at that time, and he told us that the military top chiefs did not really like Abiola sef. In fact, the military top chiefs wanted power to stay North. If Tofa had won, even IBB would not have dared to announce an annulment without him fearing a coup. From what my father said, even if Abiola had been allowed to rule, the military would have removed him through another coup within a year.

That was exactly what they did to Shonekan (a Southerner) who was to head the interim government. Abacha went into his bedroom and forced him to sign his resignation letter. Power immediately returned to the North again.
