Why Do Some Pastors Prefer Their Native Language While Ministering? by Nobody: 6:40pm On Jun 12, 2022 |
A guest pastor was invited from the west to come minister at my church today in the south, he did it through is native language so they provided an interpreter. After church service I was talking with someone at the upper end in the church, looking carefully I could hear this same pastor speaking english fluently. So this got me wondering why didn't he use general english to minister to the public? Because I find it so annoying having 2 voices with microphone at same time. I don't usually feel that vibe ..all through the services I was just tired... because it actually made the church service today longer. Seun Lalasticlala |

Since there was an interpreter, no issue here at all. |

immortalcrown:theys an issue, not everybody feels that vibe. I personally myself I don't like it, it sounds like excess noise to my body system. We supposed to be comfortable while in church |

There's a point you'll get to that english don't do it anymore, you won't even know when you'll switch to your native language, especially if your native language is your first language. Imagine praising God in english and you lose words only to switch to Yoruba. Na that one dey sweet pass. |

Barrister026: You think everyone understands English like yourself The pastor resorted to using the only language he knows how to speak since he cannot speak your peoples language |

Urheadmaster:Did you read? I told you after service I heard him conversing with a member in fluent English. |
