JACLIZ NIGERIA LIMITED is hiring a supply chain lead in the supply chain department of our company. The supply chain leads is responsible for managing the flow of goods and services through their company’s supply chain. He or she oversees all aspects of this process, from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing products to shipping them out to customers. The supply chain lead may also be responsible for ensuring that the company is operating as efficiently as possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate with other departments such as finance, marketing, and human resources to ensure that all aspects of the supply chain are addressed

• Conduct research to identify potential suppliers for new products, technologies, or materials that can help improve the company’s offerings.

• Schedule deliveries to ensure that all shipments are on time

• Coordinate with shipping companies to schedule pickup and delivery dates

• Manage inventory by negotiating contracts with suppliers, developing plans for purchasing new inventory, monitoring inventory levels, and ordering new supplies when necessary

• Create a plan for efficiently transporting goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to retail outlets

• Communicate with suppliers to coordinate the production of goods according to the company’s specifications

• Review inventory levels to ensure that items are available for purchase by customers at all times

• Develop policies for handling damaged goods or expired inventory

• Review logistical systems, and identify and recommend areas for improvements

SKILLS:

• Robust data and information analysis abilities

• Aptitude for counting and inventory management

• Managerial and business management skills

• Organizational, communications, and problem-solving skills keen attention to details

• Leadership & Decision making

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.Sc in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or a related field

• At least one year of experience in a supply chain role or relevant position

• Strong analytical skills
