The nominees for the 2011 MTV VMAs are out! Katy Perry leads the pack with nine nominations, including Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, Best Special Effects, and Video of the Year for “Firework.” British songstress Adele and Kanye West tied for seven nods, while Bruno Mars earned four. Beyonce , Lady Gaga , and Nicki Minaj each scored three nominations. Also up for Moonmen awards: Eminem , Chris Brown , 30 Seconds to Mars , and Pitbull . I never really respected the VMAs, it's always been about sharing the awards equally among big celebrities and not about creativity. It's even more hilarious when one person wins 'Best Male' and is not good enough to win 'Best Hiphop'. eldee: Lol, reminds me of the 2009 awards in which Taylor Swift's ''you belong with me'' won Best Female video when it was was nominated alongside Beyonce ''single ladies'' in that category and Beyonce's ''Single ladies'' won video of the year. . . .and they blame Kanye for throwing a rant?  I wonder why MTV keeps up it sham music and movie awards sef  |
