They are working on it ... but I'm sure this one is going nowhere. To date... air is the best shock absorber. The more luxurious cars use air suspension .... even heavy duty trucks. Forget noise... non air tyres will increase the shock a whole lot... and will affect several other parts of the car. Then there is drag.... more power required to move the car... less range for an e car.... more fuel consumption for fuel cars. This is going nowhere.

They will be working on Okada, Keke NAPEP and trailers tyres. I'm not sure if this tyre can withstand loads above ten tons vehicle.

The noise will be too much. On the other hand, you will feel every inch of pot hole or any thing you climb as the tyre can't absorb shocks. It can also get over heated and burn off the plastics used in construction. It can get fractured and cause damage to both a soft ground and the vehicle itself. This technology is still a hundreds of years away. The world actually started with airless tyres and advanced to aired tyres. I don't see the possibility of going back to airless tyres in the next hundreds of years. Even though this company may think it's possible, they're yet to be convinced.

Nigeria may still be a long way off before we start using this.
Those to be affected would be people who buy brand new cars that come with such tyres and they should pray we would have formal and informal means of catering to them by then.
It is when air tyres are no longer in production and demand in such a way as to start affecting older cars, then vulcanisers can start to worry imo
