Nigerian Troops Rescues 2 Chibok Schoolgirls Who Have Been In Boko Haram Captivity Since 2014 A lady believed to be one of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls has been rescued, the army said on Wednesday. The Army said troops rescued the girl on 14th of June, 2022, while on patrol around Ngoshe local government in Borno State. The girl, who was found with a baby, identified herself as Mary Ngoshe. It is however not stated if the father of the baby is a Boko Haram member. In a similar vain, the Nigerian Army said troops, who were on clearance operations on 14 June 2022 intercepted another abducted girl from GGSS Chibok named Hauwa Joseph, who was kidnapped by Boko Haram on 14 April 2014. The intercepted Chibok girl and her baby are said to be in a military medical facility receiving treatment.
