BREAKING: ‘SDP duped me’ – Segun Oni withdraws from Ekiti guber contest Segun Oni, governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has reportedly withdrawn from today’s gubernatorial election in Ekiti State. He announced his withdrawal through a statement he personally signed and released few hours before the commencement of the governorship election. Oni, a former Governor of Ekiti State, said he is withdrawing from the gubernatorial race due the ongoing legal and leadership battle rocking the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
