Reports coming out of today's Gubernatorial election in Ekiti State shows that vote buying by corrupt politicians is rampant.

With the excruciating poverty in the land what do you expect from hungry Nigerians? This is a manifestation of the weaponization of poverty by the extremely wicked and corrupt Nigerian ruling elites.

This is not about education and awareness as Ekiti State is among the most educated states in Nigeria. Every home has a Professor. The Professors in Ekiti State are more than all the Professors in Northern Nigeria.

The money these corrupt politicians are giving you not their money, this is your money that they looted from the public treasury. Maximum they give you N5,000 for vote buying. In the North far more cheaper than this due to the prevalence of extreme poverty.

Unfortunately, vote buying will play a huge role in the 2023 general elections. A single vote will go as high as N10,000. There is no law against vote buying. This is deliberate.

Modus Operandi: They loot your money from the public treasury and use that same money to buy votes from you. You elect them then the looting continue with interest. This vicious cycle continue...

Nigerians should ask themselves will they continue like this? Very depressing....
