A young woman identified as Maeva Erika has been stabbed to death by her boyfriend in Bafang town, Cameroon.

A source familiar with the incident stated that the young lady was killed in the early hours of today, June 18.

The source stated that the young lady was tortured to death by the boyfriend, who is yet-to-be named, at her house.

It was gathered from the source that the deceased young woman and her boyfriend had been having serious problems lately.

Erika was recurrently subjected to domestic violence by her boyfriend but refused to quit the relationship for the sake of the children they had together.

The deceased, who was born in 1999, worked in a restaurant where she went periodically because of various hospitalizations.

The boyfriend took it too far when he stabbed her to death during one of their altercations early this morning, and he’s currently on the run.

Maeva leaves behind her two children.
