Even when the doctor finally attended to us after two hours, we had to do scan to know what's up and the people doing scan in the hospital have gone home. All the private lab in the area sef don close. It was in the morning when we rushed to do the scan we found out she had miscarried. My wife cry tire. |

larride: Many government hospitals are like that. Shebi Unlimited22 nearly faint because of work. There are private hospitals better than government owned, but not much, Very few to be blunt Because a building is one storey and has a Sienna converted to an ambulance parked in front, doesn't make it decent. I will not blame anybody saying Government is shiityy...Its true. But if you will suggest a private hospital, be specific oh. Many na to write prescription scripts and Insha Allah |

This talk of Obi merging with Atiku is funny to me. Why it is, is because 99.99% of the people that say this voted Tinubu. Obi merging with Atiku would not have changed your mind. So, what is really the need for the assumption? 1 Like 1 Share |

Note; long read, so feel free to scroll pass with speed of light. LOL! Awolowo as Premier of Western Region within very few years achieved the following giant strides without oil money. π He set up the Western Nigeria Development Corporation to finance mega corporations in 1958. This encouraged plantation development with six agricultural plantations covering 20,517 acres in collaboration with Cooperative societies, eleven additional plantations covering 8,468 acres with crops ranging from Cocoa , Rubber, Oil Palm, Citrus, Cashew and Coffee had been put in place all over the region. π He ensured the rapid industrial development and revolution of the region. These industries include; 1. WAPCO at Ewekoro for cement, with enough capacity to serve the whole country. 2. Nigerite Ltd, producing asbestos and roofing sheets. 3. Financial Institutions like National Bank, Wema Bank, Nigerian General Insurance, Great Nigeria Insurance were founded. 4. Gravil Enthoven and coy, Vegetables Oil Ltd. 5. Cocoa Processing Industry Ogba Ikeja, 6. Odua Textile Mills Ltd. 7. Wrought Iron Ltd. 8. Union beverages Ltd. 9. Sungass company. 10. Wemabod estates, owner of Western House tallest building, then on Broad Street, and other estates. π He opened up big industrial layouts in Ibadan, Oluyole and Lagos Oba Akran axis and ilupeju in mushin axis with over 120 factories for mass production of different needs which gave birth to: 1. Nigeria Textile Mills. 2. West Africa Breweries. 3. Dunlop Tyres. 4. Crittal Hope Aluminum. 5. Tower Aluminium. 6. Solel Boneh. 7. Nidogas. 8. Nigeria Wire and Cables in Ilupeju. π Awolowo paid the Western Nigeria Civil servants the highest salaries far above Federal government. π He also touched the road construction & laid road network covering over 2,000 kilometers throughout the region. π Other achievements of Awolowo in the region include: 1. Cocoa House, the tallest building in West Africa for decades. 2. Liberty Stadium, the most modern in the entire African. 3. Western Nigeria Television & Broadcasting Service (WNTV/WNBS), the first Radio & Television Stations in Africa. 4. Many General Hospitals and Dispensaries in rural area. 5. Free Education at primary school level. π His effort in Cooperative society development gave birth to establishment of Cooperative Bank in 1953 and Cooperative College. π It is to his credit that Western Hotel was incorporated which later invested in: 1. Premier Hotel, Ibadan. 2. Lafia Hotel, Ibadan. 3. Lagos Airport Hotel. .....questions are; how did he achieve all these strides without FG FAAC? Where, when and how did we get it wrong in Nigeria? Perhaps its time to do the needful to this country. 3 Likes |

larride:I was told to donate blood, it was actually compulsory before your wife will be fully registered for anti-natal. I told the Nurse my blood is B+ and wife is AB+ so doesn't match, she said they will use the one that matches hers and use mine for whoever it matches. Majority of Doctors have japa, reason for the shortage of Doctors in Govt Hospitals. |

iamoyindamola: For me, the onus is on the people to do the right thing. Vote with your brain. If APC of 2023 is telling you that PDP of 2013 was the last time Nigeria witnessed economic prosperity, why should someone vote the party in 2027? If Obi likes, he should not merge with Atiku. Let us go in 2027 and vote APC, then come back and wish Obi merged with Atiku again. 6 Likes 1 Share |

izzou: Winning election is beyond just voting as we have seen in the last election. Opposition parties have to unite as one to make it more difficult to rig. The goodwill of Obi plus the reach of Atiku was the winning formula required in the last election. 5 Likes 3 Shares |

Segedinho: If you doubt the existence of gods, government hospital matrons will change your mind. Those ones are deities with more power than Otem or Obatala. They pepper everybody, whether patient or doctorβ¦..you fit collect. With regards to the attitude, there indeed is a need for serious re-orientation in public hospitals. They often behave like they are doing the patients a favour rather than delivering service. The heavy workload and shortage of both staff and equipment probably contributes to the poor attitude though. |

Itsrm: Election is for one day; the consequences is for 4 years. If anybody endures sufferings for 4 years, and thinks he needs a special combo to vote for, na him loss be that. If Obi does not merge, is this enough reason for a poor, suffering Nigerian to vote APC in 2027? 15 million voted APC in 2019. 8 million voted for APC in 2023. Obi and Atiku split their votes, yet APC lost 7 million voters in 4 years. If Obi and Atiku like, they should merge. If the people never tire for suffer, APC go win 1 Like |

afrodoc2: They use those powers because theres nobody to checkmate them. Even their CMD sef fit dey their parapo group. I've heard alot of people say good things about Ikorodu general hospital but that first hand experience ehn. If they had lot of staff, most of the private hospitals no go dey get patients like that. Even the private hospital that my wife get birth in, if there's any serious complications that need experienced specialists attention, they refer people to the general hospital. |
