I believe introversion is a product of environmental factors and not an innate trait. In a society that lead highly socially and communally, picking up such trait becomes very difficult.

Just like ramdueter said, technology drove people apart. For example, we discuss football online but then, we discuss at newspaper stands.

My friend came to visit from Nigeria with teenage kids and I was thinking of how to entertain them, planned so many places to take them, basketball clinics, museum, stadiums but the kids were just content to stay in their rooms on the computer all day.

I was now getting worried that how will you come all the way from Naija to Yankee for holidays and you want to stay indoors all day in your room watching anime. To get them to come eat na wahala
