There's no naira scarcity anywhere, people are just no longer taking money to the bank.

People transacting with large volumes of cash are hardly depositing money in banks like before. They prefer to take the cash to POS agents who will give them tips unlike banks who will still remove charges from their deposits. I know of a large gas plant that makes at least 10 million naira daily in sales. In the past, bank marketers used to come and take the sales money to the bank. Now it's pos agents lurking around them to collect cash from their sales.

Pos people have almost completely collected customers from banks, they're now confidently opening shops in front of banks because they know people will rather collect cash from them than to go and queue in front of bank's malfunctioning ATMs which may or may not dispense cash.

The only sure way banks can now get cash is when CBN prints out new currencies those ones too end up in the hands of POS agents once they're dispensed out.
This is the true picture of things

Ambode and sanwoolu still have pity for face

I watched a video yesterday of one baba doing Taxi lamenting to his passenger in Yoruba while that one made his video. The baba said he will never pray for Tinubu because his administration has destroyed his family/home.

The passenger asked him how? And the baba asked a rhetorical question in response: " If my wife and children don't have what to eat, has my family/home not been destroyed ? "..... The claimed he was nearly beaten when he was voting for Tinubu in Ibadan; now see him struggling to feed under Tinubu's government while Tinubu dey enjoy for Aso rock.

According to Nuhu Ribadu, Bụbu bankrupted Nigeria so Tinubu inherited nothing. I wonder how Bashir Ahmed and the likes will react.

I was surprised reading there's naira scarcity cos I still withdrew from POS as recent as yesterday night.

I guess the banks will have to shed some of the billions they always declare as profit every quarter. All those arbitrary deduction they make on people's accounts anyhow.

Fun fact: If you conduct another election today with the same candidates the baba will still vote Tinubu.

CNG has been for a long time. The fact that many logistics companies never converted their trucks to CNG means it may not be as better as it sounds.

And yet, no single news on why we should look to CNG as a better alternative.

Now na 600k e go cost...
I read somewhere that one of the disadvantages of CNG powered vehicle is that it travels a shorter distance than PMS, i believe this is the reason Logistics and Inter-State Transport companies are likely not buying into it.

Good point. I've also wondered why car manufacturers have not considered it? They will rather build a car with expensive hybrid batteries than one that can be powered with CNG. Something is not right.
What's your take on regular hybrid and plug-in Hybrid vehicles?

Not advisable especially for those of us who reside in Nigeria

Most of the vehicles we buy are high mileage cars. If you have ever witnessed auctions on copart/Iaai, you will understand better. Oyinbos no dey take eye see low mileage cars. They will keep bidding and outbidding each other. Nigerians don't stand a chance except the dealer has no intention of making profit. They usually leave the high mileage units for us.

This means by the time most of these vehicles get here, there's very little juice left in the battery. Whatever savings you hope to make on fuel, you can easily spend tripple replacing the battery.

Secondly, lack of technical know-how is a challenge. Our rewires and mechanics with their crude methods cannot properly fix these cars. You will be at the mercy of the few ones who can fix it.

The sweet spot is if you can get it brand new or import a unit with low mileage so you can enjoy the battery and vehicle before the issues start. However, this option will cost a whole lot of money.

A whole lot of things are happening all at once in this country, there's no way the print media will carry all the news inside newspaper considering constraints like limited number of pages of their dailies. The two newspapers I know whom use their Editorials to give some publicity to important news are Guardian and Punch Newspapers.

As regards TV and radio media, those ones are already chocked with NBC sanctions up and down. When they decide to spend serious money on indepth investigative journalism, u will just see NBC rubbish whatever they put out, call it "inciting", embarrassing to the government and sama them sanction. We saw it happen during to ARISETv during the ENDSARS wahala, we also saw it playout when the BBC did their documentary on bandits' activities in the Northwest.
