Odunharry: That's pre-Tunubu administration rent u are quoting right there . Do u know how many landlords have increased rent by 100% this 2024 ? U can know someone who paid 400k for 2 bedroom in those areas as at January 2023 , but have u asked the person how much he paid January 2024? The discussion is centered around the current happenings , not historical data that has been overridden by a lot of things that has happened in the last 1 year |

Nigerians should all concern themselves with the state of their foreign reserves. There is no number more important to Nigerians than the number that tells them about their Governments ability to defend the Naira. This alone controls inflation. The detailing of the rising cost of living over the last 5 pages was inevitable. And it will only get worse and worse. I cannot forget the words of Sanusi many months ago when the state of our reserves started becoming plain “I can only plead with the people to endure the hardship, and those who have the means to help the downtrodden should do so." 10 Likes 3 Shares |

Ibime: We are literally in a perfect storm. What makes it far worse is the system is full of leaks that were never patched. Nigeria has been described as the world capital for oil theft. At a critical juncture like this if we we not losing God knows how many barrels to theft, we would be able to meet our quotas and supply our refineries. But here we are. 2 Likes 1 Share |
