.....its not allowed and the penalty is fasting for 40 days after Ramadan - for breaking just 1 intentionally or recklessly.

.....While appearing before the senate, The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, disclosed on Wednesday in Abuja, that in January alone, over N100billion was remitted to the government by Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

Mr Wale Edun noted that compared to the same period in 2023, only N20bn was remitted into the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federal Government.
