raumdeuter: The influence of the G5 goes way beyond the G5 states. They had considerable influence in Lagos, Ekiti, Ondo, Kano, Cross Rivers, Plateau, e.t.c. There's no way Atiku didn't lose at least 1m votes to that foolishness of ignoring 5 governors with influence in other states without PDP governors. |

Theflint1: After that betrayal at the convention and refusal to force Ayu out, you expect him to trust them to give him any portfolio if PDP had won? He didn't get where he is today by being stupid. 3 Likes |

BlueRayDick: Bode Geroge controls the PDP structure in Lagos. He was a member of the "integrity group" which was an extension of the G5. |

Itsrm:Ayu was already seeing his tenure out. If Wike wasn't crying about Ayu, he'd have found another thing to cry about. Wike was not betrayed at the convention, the Tambuwal angle was one he didn't consider or plan properly against. |

Theflint1: Nothing gives anyone the right but Wike who waited with a party in the lean times has a bigger argument compared to Atiku who flees anytime he its convenient Which of the states wont Obi win with or without G5? So Atiku who doesnt care about anyone except himself will care about giving him a ministry? |

Itsrm: Bode Geroge kor, Bode lawyer ni What did PDP score in Lagos at the presidential election? Maybe u don't know that as far as Lagos is concerned PDP is a dead party, they don't even have any structure whatsoever. All Bode George is anytime an election is coming he collects money from as many people that want to contest under the dead party, do one yeye primary, field the candidate and lose scandalously eventually. The next election cycle rinse and repeat. I've always maintained here and outside this forum that if PDP wants to have any chance at unseating APC in Lagos, they need to put in work 2-3 years before the election; not the nonsense they do every election cycle in which they will just start pasting poster 9-12 months before an election without proper grassroots mobilization. Every week APC hold ward meetings whether it is off election season or during election season. They don't just wake few months to election wasting money on posters and advert. Bode George just dey run gullible people streets, PDP is dead in Lagos. 2 Likes |

Itsrm: Bode George ko Bode Thomas ni The normal PDP votes that Bode George use to negotiate have been stolen by Obi. in Lagos especially |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 4:51pm On Apr 19 |
Theflint1: Lol, then you were not following. The betrayal was all about Ayu not even Tambuwal. Ayu was brought to Wike by Ortom. The governors led by Wike ensured that there was little to no resistance to Ayus emergence. Wike was even the one who funded his campaign. The plan was to make it easier for Wike to emerge as presidential candidate from the South considering that North had gotten the chairman. Ayu not only betrayed him by supporting Atiku, he publicly hailed Tambuwal as the hero of the convention. Infact, it was Ayu who prevailed on Atiku not to choose Wike as Vice. Atiku was going to go with the recommendation of the committee he set up. That was why Wike demanded Ayus head. He wanted his pound of flesh. And which tenure was Ayu seeing out? Ayu was elected in October 2021. He had a tenure of 4 years. |

raumdeuter: In Cross Rivers, their governorship candidate was a close ally of Wike. His structure worked against Atiku and supported Obi. In Ondo, Mimiko is the leader of the party. His structure worked against Atiku and supported Tinubu In Ekiti, you have Fayose and his men. Also a strong ally of Wike. These are people that could easily have given Atiku some decent amount of votes in their respective states. |

Infact, everything that happened at that convention including Tambuwal stepping down was masterminded by Ayu. How was Wike meant to react? Smile, laugh and dance with Ayu and Atiku so they can give him a better portfolio than what APC has given him. Easy to see why most of us will never make it as politicians 1 Like |
