OasisX: This man.. The conversation is this? What is an effective way for people to show they are not happy and pressure government. You have been against these protests because it is not peaceful. I highlighted the fact that anti-government protests are never peaceful. You said occupy Nigeria was peaceful. I showed you different links to show it was not a peaceful protest. Now you are asking me about Lagos protest again? The original question is this, how do people express their anger while not carrying out anti-government protests. What do you suggest? |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 4:37pm On Aug 01 |
liveLongNprospa: Then the people should protest, or did I say people or anti government protest shouldn't hold? |

liveLongNprospa: ......I have answered you but you no gree. I said wait till 2027 and don't vote for him yet you ain't satisfied. You want destructions of lives and properties to gain Government attention, I prefer Ghandi Approach - Peace and Perseverance. |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 4:41pm On Aug 01 |
liveLongNprospa: Whether life is good or not, the government still owe the people effective communication of policies and actions been taken. It is through effective government communication that people will hear about government policy, opportunities that citizens can benefit from and the likes. They owe it to us to communicate what they are doing and how they are doing it. 1 Like |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 4:42pm On Aug 01 |
OasisX: So why did tinubu not wait till 2015 to show his anger instead of carrying out a protest that wasn't peaceful in 2012. 1yr after Jonathan started his first term as president. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:42pm On Aug 01 |
raumdeuter: Twitter no dey open oh. But if it is Kano, I must commend the state governor for his immense support. When other governors were begging, he stood with the protesters. Na the result be that. |

raumdeuter:Na, that's not it...I meant it from the angle of people that ought to know better than that and are integrated southern enough to not push certain conversations about another Southern ethnicity. |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 4:43pm On Aug 01 |
liveLongNprospa: .......and what happened in 2015?! Occupy Nigeria was largely a peaceful protest in my book though. |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 4:45pm On Aug 01 |
OasisX: You Don invent new meaning of "largely peaceful" Why did he hold an anti government protest? Why did he not wait till 2015 to show that he wasn't happy. Also I expect you to commend Obi seeing as he didn't call for protest and followed the rules and is waiting for 2027. Unlike the current man you support๐ |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:46pm On Aug 01 |
liveLongNprospa: What exactly do you think Tinubu is losing now? You think he is losing sleep as we type? Even the Kano Governor just got a free ticket to loot more. He can now give contracts to more of his friends as vandalism don occur. The best and impactful protest is with your thumb (abi 4th finger) . 3 Likes 1 Share |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 4:47pm On Aug 01 |
liveLongNprospa: It is. No protest will remove a democratic elected President or Governor in Nigeria. |

liveLongNprospa: .....My problem with you is; you can tire person with same question eh! Do I need to spell it out in the language or dialect you understand that Protest ain't a crime?! As far as its peaceful, no qualms. Largely peaceful in SW and PH today for instance, so what's not clear to you again. |
