Even customer service contract jobs no longer pay N70k, most of them now pay a little above N100k for outsourced staff.

Dem dey look for "2 years of ACTIVE front-end development with HTML, CSS & Javascript" and dem wan pay minimum wage angry angry angry

Soldier supposed lock the HR manager, the CEO and their company promoter for guard room honestly.

Actually the onus is on the job seeker to jump and pass. At least they are up front about the salary. No ambiguity. Not that you will go through recruitment process, multiple test and interview and they will now tell you this is what we are offering

It is actually a typical story in employment
Depending on the company you are working in you can be doing the exact same thing as someone else for a fraction of the salary

Which is what happens to contract Staff in particular.

This recruiter is just deliberately wicked ni jare or maybe they are looking for a student who just passed out of secondary school and learnt coding. No reasonable adult who has the required tech skills will take that offer. It is too ridiculous.

You are right, the people who have the required skills will just see the job advert and laugh it off; there's no need wasting time to apply and go through a rigorous recruitment process.

He has been making really funny jokes about Brest. He once said "I like the shape of them" with his funny scouse accent. When Kate jokingly asked him if brest can get exposed in tonight's game, he responded " I hope so".

He recently called Salah selfish because of his contract issue with lfc, Richard called him big mouth on Tuesday
He doesn't know when to make jokes or constructive criticism, not like he is good in his days
Own goal specialist 🤣🤣

Maybe by tucking into shape quickly before they get manhandled by Salah and co.

But there are some careers that are not valued in certain countries. Maybe IT skils are not valued in Nigeria that much compared to Western countries. For example Medical related professions in Nigeria. I know a few doctors post housemanship went to apply for Bank jobs and worked in a Bank in the mid 2000s. Na when you go abroad na him Doctors and Nurses get value, for Naija na same level with teachers and those Auxiliary nurse equivalent of CNA in America. In Naija Auxiliary nurse no get rating at all

I am not sure but a Bank worker probably makes more than a doctor today in Nigeria(same year of graduation).

He asked which goalkeeper committed that blunder for Barca, they told him Szczesny and he immediately said he knew he has always been an average goal keeper.

Carragher talking about talking about someone being average sounds comedy to me.

Like he's the worst of them, he was fortunate to play for a big club
He's no different from Mario marchiot, bramble
He's the second in command for defenders with most own goals

I get u , but that's not the case here. IT skills are very much appreciated in Nigeria. People who are just IT support staff get well paid 6 figures ,not to talk of a front-end developer that can code in at least 2 different programming language. I think it is just this particular recruiter that is fumbling.

And u are right, the salary of ET in Nigerian banks as full staff is very much better than a fresh medical doctor's salary

It's usually those that weren't spectacular footballers that always get the Sports analyst gigs. While their mates will be getting invited to FIFA and UEFA events as legends in retirement, they will be on TV criticizing current players who are clearly better than them .

He should have let Szczesny blunder slide seeing that him too was error prone.

The issue though is that if an ex-professional footballer with international caps to his name can’t criticise a current player’s game then who can?

I see people who never played even monkey post or never went past playing table soccer criticising players on TV, social media, and even here on Nairaland.

The thing is, Carragher does destructive criticism. When doing a job you are paid to do, least expectation is that you act professionally.

Calling a player greedy is an unprofessional language, and he could have handled the Szczesny comment better.

He's a brand and a club legend, that's where I have issues with Keane
Even though most of what he said about Manchester United is true, he should be covering them in public as a legend not pouring petrol inside
