Can Wike also reciprocate that Diris meeting with Someone must not hold anywhere in FCT?

I don't know. Our discussion is not whether Diri can do it or not.

Diri cancelled a meeting from holding. The whole video was talking about the meeting. You guys just filtered FCT Minister and decided to run with it.

He did not ban Wike from entering Bayelsa. He banned a particular meeting from holding

The report is that the vigilantes were overpowered by the mob, and it was the mob that burnt them.

As local as vigilantes are, the local police station work with them. You cannot form a vigilante and put checkpoints without the consent and approval of the Police

The vigilantes probably detained them, waiting for the police or to investigate more, but the mob was not going to have that.

I no even know wetin to call this one sef.

U said probably which shows u are not sure.

If our security apparatus was in good shape and cases of kidnaps in Edo state in the past have been well investigated and resolved ; I'm not sure we would be seeing a mob more interested in murdering suspected Kidnappers than having them prosecuted.

All I did was point at the root cause of the incident, not the immediate cause which is the mob action. Certainly we should all condemn mob action and should never make excuse for such unfortunate incidents, but we should also encourage our government/security agents to do more to allay fears of the people. I remember how everyone was on edge during the Covid-19 locksown and the curfew that followed the ENDSARS protest in Lagos. A lot of people would've engaged in mob action if they had caught the "one million boys" that were rumored to be attacking communities back then

I have no anger. I am not an Ijaw man.

It is how you are ready to defend everything and anything Wike does.

Someone berates a whole tribe. You cannot even acknowledge that it's wrong. Rather you drop more posts to defend it.

This is the real reason why no serious person will ever give wike a presidential or vp ticket.

The man has too many unguarded utterances on camera

Rivers is a Christian state. Oyingbo. Mosque demolition. Insulting chiefs. Lower casting ijaws. All this would be a gift to the opposition. An even bigger gift than PEJ and the born throway.

President Tinubu has instructed a Manhunt for the individuals responsible for the murder of hunters in Edo.
He instructed a manhunt cos he need the the vote of hausa people. How many times has he instructed manhunt for people dying daily in benue state.
Even when building collapsed on school children in jos killing many, none of his ministers or him said anything. Even their wives forgot they are mothers which they will readily remember during election time. A mother lost all her kids on that house collapse. Where were tinubu and his people.
Playing politics with lives.

You see the case was taken to court, Not to his place of work or to his football club. He was taken to a proper court where all the evidences were examined
Matters bordering on sexual harassment and ®ape tend to elicit emotional responses...but I think the more important thing here was Dani Alves submitted himself to scrutiny and didn't try to use his influence as a football star to evade due process and emerged triumphant.

Everybody knows that Tinubu is a hypocrite and would twist himself to pretzels to appeal to his Northern base, injustice for some is injustice to all.

Of all of us here, na izzou dey do waka waka the most. This is personal for him. Because you can be traveling in the same vehicle with these people and be roped in. To this day izzou no tell boys his naaty experience during one of these journeys.

In today's Nigeria a person could actually do like Dayo (who is suddenly no longer a pro gun advocate tongue) and travel with a gun for their own safety.

He made himself available for scrutiny where it was demanded of him, hopefully others that have such cases at the court (or other platforms) make themselves available.

It makes absolute no sense for group of persons to be traveling interstate with unlincensed guns ;particularly driving through a state that has been a target of insecurity in recent times. That was foolishness on the part of the hunters.

I'm sure if they were within their own state they wouldnt have much issues with the local security operatives. But in a different state where they speak different language, simple language barrier can escalate the situation and make things go south like it did in this case.

Las Las few guilty people and plenty innocent people go follow enter sanko on this matter
Defs, most of the person's involved would have already skipped town...and I doubt anything serious would come of it.

I know people are on edge and whatnot, but it takes a certain level of barbarity to kill that many people jungle justice style, I really hope the culprits get apprehended and our people get educated on the dangers of this.

More than likely a good number of the person's that were involved in that have never in their lives done anything like that...so what exactly could have snapped undecided

One difference. The man is rich enough to afford the best lawyers. He also has a pr team that will guide him on the best way to handle this.

It actually comes down to who has the better lawyers. Unless the man is on video.

Also most people will give you a pass if you are a charismatic star at the top of your game.

This one sef dey, it then boggles the mind that persons of influence and means would find themselves roped in such and will resort to very obvious attempts at ducking scrutiny.

That aside, the justice system over there is good enough, and though it doesn't mean they'd get it right all the time, but it gives people that find themselves roped in such a decent chance.

False rape accusations should start getting punished too, though I fear most cases would still suffer from a burden of proof. For example in the Dani Alves and Benjamin Mendy cases...they were acquitted not because it was established that they were innocent, but because there wasn't enough to secure a conviction.

I have been to many places where I don't speak their language, and I don't know anybody.

Sometimes I imagine how I would defend or explain myself there if I am accused or get into trouble.

I imagine how these guys may have struggled to explain or defend themselves. And maybe they are not even fluent in pidgin.

I know our agencies are incompetent, but as a people, we should verify that the accused is guilty. Be sure that they are kidnappers.

It can be anyone tomorrow. You may not even be carrying a gun, but your car or your face or your shirt can be the "weapon" a useless mob needs to see, before you're burnt.

But it's not the first time the senate is handling issues like that, the Elisha Abbo incident is a recent example.

The Nigerian senate is number 1 law making institution in the land, I think they're somewhat equipped to handle such issues and Akpabio has so far been evasive and exerted undue influence on the matter at hand.

Taribo was finished by 2002. We had already seen him on loan to Derby in 2001 and he couldn't run again, but he was good on the ball though. He was the biggest age cheat in Super Eagles. That nigga cut 10 years off his age easy. He should be mate with SiaSia them, yet famzing Kanu and Babayaro set.
