Peter Obi Will Do Well As A Minister Of Economy – Ned Nwoko by Hotfrom9ja: 10:01am On Jun 21, 2022 |
Delta-born politician, Ned Nwoko has shared his thoughts about former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi’s participation in the forthcoming governorship election under Labour Party’s platform. The politician who is married to actress Regina Daniels, acknowledged that Peter Obi is not like other Governors he has met in the past as he’s quite frugal and a big-time capitalist. Nwoko also stated in the interview with BBC Igbo, that he would like Peter Obi to come back to the Peoples Democratic Party as he will do well as a Minister of Economy and will also help the economy bounce back. The Delta-born politician further averred that though Peter Obi is popular and might have a support base, he doesn’t have the structure to function as he would need the majority in either house of reps or senate, state house of assemblies and government. He also said that all of these might take at least 8 years to be achieved. Nwoko further claimed there are many things that would work against the emergence of Peter Obi as President of Nigeria and “it would never happen”. Nwoko also said that Igbos are not ready for presidency as that would have shown during the primaries. He also wondered why delegates never supported Igbo candidates, but went for candidates from other regions. According to him, Igbos are largely selfish and won’t think about others. Nwoko added that he doesn’t subscribe to zoning, but believes in merit. https://voicesuit.com/peter-obi-will-do-well-as-a-minister-of-economy-ned-nwoko/ 2 Likes 2 Shares

Peter Obi is fully qualified to be the president of Nigeria. He can then use his higher office to direct the economy instead of being turned to an onlooker like Fashola in power ministry. We dont need those that talk now, we need people with proven knowledge of economic excellence. Vote for Peter Obi to rescue Nigeria from economic mismanagement. 29 Likes 2 Shares |

I do not think people realize how important 2023 is. Let me explain. Last year Nigeria made: 970.3billion from oil 1.6-Trillion from non-oil taxs (more revenue from this than oil) 2.8-Trillion from a cumulative of other sources. In total the country brought in 5.5 Trillion in revenue.. Then it gets crazy from here Out of that 5.5-Trillion revenue, 4.2-Trillion was spent on servicing (repaying) debts from January to November. So what is left after paying debts is 1.3-Trillion. Which, as a matter of fact; means that what is left after repaying what we owe is not enough to run the country... Because in the 2021 national budget, the nation needs to run on a total of 13.57-Trillion. So since we just have 1.3-Trillion left, an extra 12.27-Trillion is needed. Where do we get it? Yes, you guessed right right - we borrowed. In 2021 Nigeria spent 12.56-Trillion - most of which were borrowed money spent on things that do not bring money back (salary, fuel subsidy, looting, etc.) So if Nigeria was a man who makes 100k a month, he borrows 5million every month to pay for light bill, and running of the house. See the picture now? Scary isn't it? The excess crude oil account (which is like our savings) is almost empty. So not only does this man borrows like a craze person, he has no savings for emergencies (like if his boss decides not to pay salary) Anyways, the finance minister thinks we're doing alright. That what we have is a revenue problem - and not a debt problem and if we make more we would be alright (this is why they're taxing everything) of course, she could be lying...but she might be right too. The rule is we should never borrow more than 40% of our GDP. We are at 36.9% 3.2% more and all the alarm bells goes off Now - imagine if our revenue keeps dropping, and the debts keeps increasing. And one day - voom - 3.2% crossed!! We need a new leadership style and i think if Peter obi is given a chance all this mess can be resolved. It's high time we boot these recycled old tyrrants that calls themselves leaders back to their cave. 17 Likes |

The disunity in the south is rather laughable Imagine asking a man to go back to his vomit so he can be served bread crumbs. Come 2023 whether atiku or Tinubu wins it will still be a win for the north ......signing out✈ 1 Like 1 Share |

Tinubu will not appoint him in that capacity, never. Rather, Tinubu will appoint him chairman, commission of Nigerians living in Diaspora. He should address cases of drug smuggling first. 75 Likes 3 Shares |

With Atiku/Tinubu as President, it will be Business As Usual & things will continue to degenerate & get worse. PO may not be a magician but his Presidency will provide the platform for a People's Revolution which is the only thing that can salvage this country. We need to liberate this country from the grips of Lunatic Political Bandits. Be Obidient, Choose the Key & Emancipate Yourself... 3 Likes |

These guys hate truth!!! They like it when you are just lying to them Thinking that Peter Obi will be next Nigerian President is akin to admitting that Arsenal though not competing in the Champions league will be Champions of Europe next year. In all honesty, apart from being frugal and an excellent Business man; his sterling performance in Education while he was Governor in Anambra. I could also rate fairly on health......Nothing more in terms of achievement!!! I mean nothing. When I see all these hype, I begin to wonder if the Peter Obi they are talking about is different from the one in Anambra. What does he want to do now and failed to achieved as a Governor? Its even more rigorous to achieve that now as a President than as a Governor. Apart from frugality, Peter Obi is nothing different from other politicians in Nigeria. He is no saint 3 Likes 2 Shares |

A failure like pitobi with economical lies would perfome woefully as a Minister. He's too pretentious, lying and mischievous to be trusted. How well is Anambra State he governed today? 50 Likes 2 Shares |

One thing everyone knows is the quality of Peter Obi,they know Nigeria needs him, they just don't want him at the helm of affairs because he will checkmate them. Ned Nwoko doesn't want the status quo to change,he wants to keep kidnapping underage girls in the name of marriage, he's benefiting from the poverty in the country. 2 Likes |

PresidObi: As a minister of the economy, Peter Obi won't be in the position to sanction all those politicians sharing dollars to the detriment of the Nigerian naira. He will simply be an onlooker with just a few concerns to take care of. As the economy minister he won't be able to lead in any meaningful anti-corruption crusade or initiative. He will be an onlooker. Even as an economy minister he won't even be able to commence some of the programmes designed by the economy ministry, as he will still need the backing of he president, who may not understand the intricacies of what is being planned, or may have a vested interest in a process that is detrimental to the economy of Nigeria. Peter Obi should only be considered for the 2023 presidency. Nothing more nothing less. 2 Likes |

seunmsg: Frigga13: We are Begging God and We are begging you, Please dont allow us all to drown because of ethnic pride. In a multitribal country like nigeria, If you Truly love your tribe, you will not be supporting a Bad Candidate for president. Dont allow these online tribal trolls to make you say you will punish them by not voting for their tribe. You are not just punishing them, you are punishing yourself as well as all the people you care about. Here is a better way to look at the situation, With the catastrophe that has befallen Nigeria we are all shackled together by the feet with a single chain, we can either chose to agree that we move in a direction that is possible and agreeable to us all otherwise none of us will be able to move. So if you are saying as Yorubaman or igboman I will sit down or go right while others want to move left, it means we will all not be able move. Abeg, Pity Us, this country has suffered enough, let us do the right thing this time around. 3 Likes |
