I would have appreciated it if you had pointed  out exactly where in my comment I had advocated for Boko Haram.   What I am saying is that it is usually a waste of time, effort  and resources to address the symptoms of  a problem and not the causes.    We can conveniently ignore the causes but that will not make the problem go away.  I will answer your last question by saying that sooner or later, a bomb fuse burns out and then things go boom.  The fuse had been burning when all those guys you mentioned were in power, but few gave it any attention.
