Apple expands the App Store to 33 new countries and territories Nigeria and Ghana now have their own App Store for iOS and Mac apps. I think it means that the iPhone and iPad will soon be officially sold in Nigeria unlocked. So if you're a developer, get cracking on those apps for the Nigerian market. Praise be to God, Now all they have to do is make payment of apps easier. E.g using phone credit to pay for apps and songs then I'm gonna start buying apps from iTunes |

Yes they really need to make it easy for people in naija to be able to easily make purchases from their phones. Maybe they will have people selling iTunes gift cards. |

You will need a VISA/Mastercard/American Express($) to make purchases. I presume the ones issued by Nigerian banks will work. Anyone tried opening an apple id with a nigerian visa/master card? And your topic subject, yeah me think it's coming obviously but not yet, |

Well, the rumor is that the new version will be announced late August and be available early September, at least here in the US, and the roll out to other countries will happen soon after. Hopefully Nigeria gets in before the end of the year. |
