Mind you, voting for your faith doesn't mean voting for Christian or Muslim in an election but voting for what will benefit and not hamper your faith. The US usually have acclaimed Christian contestants/candidates and the people vote for people they think share their faith ideals on things like abortion, homosexuality etc.
So don't get it wrong, we may have a docile so called Christian like GEJ has president and they keep ransacking churches and kidnapping Christians. For one, Tinubu has shown from his days in Lagos government that he has no such bigotry. His wife is an acclaimed Christian pastor. He has selected two Christian governors and a Christian vice president and worked across tribe and religion for decades. He approves even people from other tribes to be Commissioners in Lagos state, something very much unheard of in other zones of the country.
Atiku is fulani and a fulani just spent 8years there. i don't see any sterling leadership qualities in him not found better and practically in Tinubu. They are both thieves BTW. They don't have godfathers and can't be easily manipulated by any cabal or whoever.
Obi on the other hand has an history as an impeached governor, he will likely spend the whole time whining/complaining about senate majority tying his hands. More so, his support base tendencies for tribalism, violence and ipobic treatment against any opposition is worrisome and Obi's silence is already deafening.
Vote in defence of your faith means vote for a person who shares same fate with you. That Leah Shuabu (a Christian lady) is married to Boko Haram terrorists doesn't make the terrorists Christians. Rather they see themselves as conquerors. Moreover, Nigeria is not an Islamic country. A Northern Muslim has been president for close to eight years. It is only normal for a competent Southern Christian to take over. Since 1999, a Southwesterner (Obasanjo) has been president for eight years, a Southsoutherner (Jonathan) for 6 years, another Southwesterner (Osinbajo) will have been vice president for another eight years by 2023. In the interest of justice, peace and national unity, it is only natural for a competent Southeastern to take over by 2023. Don't be greedy sir. Thank you.

Now that a pastor is preaching religion+politics, he's a man of god. But "religion is the cause of African backwardness" if a Muslim cleric says similar thing.

You people are bunch of hypocrites.
He has every right and duty to ask Christians to vote in defence of their faith based on the situation on ground. He never insulted or threatened anyone. The opposite religious leaders have a right to also direct their own on what they think is in their own interest. Thank you.

The contrast is what we see from CAN.

They bolded is where you got me ROTF

Lemme ask you a simple question. Suppose you own a bank that is presently suffering from liquidity issues and low customer deposits due to corruption of past MDs and Directors of the Bank.
Now you want a new MD to take the reins and I come to you with a CV filled with Havard, Cambridge and Oxford qualifications. Then in the personal attributes column, I put stealing as one of my attributes. Will you employ me to take charge of your bank?!
