When I tell her she says it's not her fault that she's a human being
I always wonder how it will be when she gets married and has to live with her man
It's like she's leaking gas , is that healthy ? Am I the unhealthy one and I don't know?
It's funny when someone farts out of the blue once in awhile but it's not funny anymore when it's every second of the day
Apart from this habit she's a neat person , she also has this disturbing handwashing ritual , made most if us assume that she had OCD but this farting thing is irritating everyone , even if it doesn't have any smell the sound just turns you off

Your friend is taking advantage of your gullibility. there. Does she have the same habits at work or when she is around her boyfriend? The likely answer is no. If she can control her farting habits when around others, she can do so around you as well. You simply have to demand she respects your space.

I'll just do the first one , but I doubt it will make any difference , I'm graduating soon I won't have to deal with this for much longer

I can't choose my roommates oh , we're assigned to rooms anonymously , it just happened to be a coincidence that we're course mates so I see her everyday and still live with her , you can't kick anyone out of the room and presently there are no available rooms , I'm graduating soon I won't have to deal with it for much longer , I'm just counting the days

Then tell her only abnormal people fart at the rate she does hers,amd let her find solution to her abnormality.

You are lucky it does not smell sha, my roommates then use fart kill me and theirs smell badly, after a long period of time of forcefully adjusting I joined the bandwagon and outsiders started complaining about us because our room is that place everyone used to gather for fun.

This will not work, trust me, you will only end up engaging her the more, my roommates then, it started with one, the other had no choice than to join him, then the idiot that started it all decided not to go to toilet for days just to increase his rate of farting, and I will stay outside till past 12am before I go inside to sleep because the whole room will be smelling. Even when I joined them, I was not happy doing it because it's not my thing and I always use the toilet daily no matter what, but I target when they are eating and I dropped it before they started having sense after like a full session.

Is she a Muslim? that's how they do. my ex roommate does this very loud farts that can pass for a sound of a trumpet any time he feels like, the most annoying part was when he did it when I was eating without any atom of remorse or sorry when I told him he was still claiming right I had to run away the following year. Dirty pig spits. At the beginning it was funny when he does it until it became extremely annoying

I know someone like that, very loud farts every 5-10mins, it got me so pissed even as it felt like he was just passing gas, odourless gas. The sound is really off-putting *rolling my eyes* and then someone says "c'mon don't be like that, he's a human being, do you want him to hold it in and maybe get hospitalized?" I'm like "oh pleeease!" in my head.

Since it's more like a school hostel allocation and not your rented space/apartment, I'm not sure there's anything you can do about it, you can't kick anyone out and you can't move to another room.
