Believe me, Mohammed would have been a great Apostle of Jesus Christ because he had the zeal to seek the only true God but was misled by a demon that masqueraded himself as an angel.

Mohammed met the wrong Christians in his quest for the living God. And, you know, at that time, Christianity was in a great state of apostasy. That was the era in Christiendom known as the Dark Ages. The Roman government had taken over the church and had imported pagan activities and rites into Christianity.

If Mohammed had met the Lord Jesus in person or had met firebrand Christians like John, Paul, Stephen, Philip, Peter, Barnabas, Timothy, Apollos, Gaius, Aquilla, etc, he would have been positively influenced. This would make you understand why the earliest quranic verses tend to be contradictory in nature to later verses of the Quran.

When you read the first parts of the Quran, you would discover that he had at first, a genuine search for God. He detested idolatry.

However, as he continued to study the type of Christianity that was available in his day, he came in contact with unacceptable practices that were pagan in nature, and therefore had a change of orientation leading him to self meditation which brought him into contact with the wrong spirits.

But, my my submission, if Mohammed had a chance to meet Jesus in person, he would have become a strong apostle of Jesus Christ.

All the nations around the Mediterranean sea are perpetual enemies of the Jews, the only nation closest to them are the Samaritans who are also descendants of Jacob (Israel) but even though they're both Israelites Samaritans also have become enemies of the Jews {John 4:9} for just one reason:

So if Muhammad lived the same time with Jesus of Nazareth surely he will like to know the man who claims to be the only channel to God {John 14:6} now imagine the look on Muhammad's face when Jesus said:

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him" John 3:16-17

The spirit that appeared to Muhammad said God doesn't have a son so what do you think will happen between the two of them?
