3 things. Check your RAM, clean it up and install then try again. If it doesn't work, Then your boot able file in your hard drive is corrupt. If not... Your processor is bad, you will have to replace the processor, it doesn't cost much to replace. Response from an IT enthusiast but an interior designer. Patronize us. Modified : to everyone quoting that RAM is out of this definitely never had a complicated pc booting problems. As a technician, try to boot a pc without a ram and get the result. Now you've learned a new thing . I can hear you say thanks 36 Likes 4 Shares |

Osnami:The problem was clearly stated In the message displayed on your screen. It says install operating system. Your windows or Mac OS is your operating system. It's located on your PC hard drive. You said it just shut down and showed that message, that is not true, unless you deleted your C: drive. Solution: 1. Remove your hard drive and re- insert it 2. If it still the same, then re-install windows on your PC. 58 Likes 1 Share |

It's a Spectre, Sir. The processor is onboard and it can't be removed or replaced. Any laptop like this with processor issues is as good as getting another motherboard except you have the machine to remove it and these types of processor are expensive. MarveworldG: 1 Like |

If you've not tampered with anything like the BIOS, it's likely: - a corrupt windows - an update was running and you didn't let it get completed - a shift in the storage (SSD); though unlikely since they're mostly screwed - a bad SSD - you connected an external hard drive removed from a former laptop you have and it's still connected to the laptop; probably the OS on it may have interfered. If you tampered with settings in the BIOS, it's likely: - you changed the OS mode from UEFI to legacy; hence, the laptop won't boot to windows as it's not recognizing the OS on it...that's if only the UEFI option was chosen during its installation. - you changed the boot mode to probably PXE (network boot mode) or it's the only option ticked and the Windows manager (SSD) isn't ticked. You'd have to move the windows manager up as priority over the PXE if it's (Windows manager) ticked. Exclusive As it is, press CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart the laptop and immediately it displays the black screen, keep pressing F10 to go to the BIOS to check if your storage is still recognized. If it's still there, on the MAIN tab, reset settings to the default and see if it solves your problem. You're in the best option to make it known as to how it all happened... What were you doing before it started acting up? Our solutions can be 50-50 helpful till further info is disclosed. 20 Likes |

Hard drive issue. Boot up BIOS with F8 or F9 depending on your laptop. Go to the system/startup menu and find out what's wrong with your drive. Either its been moved down the boot priority list, corrupted or its no longer recognized by the device. It may also be a driver issue if you made updates recently. If all these don't work, burn the laptop. 2 Likes |

Bro, just restart the system, use F8 or F9 key as it's booting to enter recovery mood, choose hard drive as primary booting device, then save and restart If it didn't boot normally then, buy a copy of your window copy and format. 1 Like |

Check your computer's settings You need to make sure the BIOS is looking for the correct boot drive. Most computers have more than one disc, and if the BIOS isn't programmed to load the right drive first, a boot device not found error will occur. The “Boot Device Not Found” or “No Boot Device Is Detected” error message occurs when the operating system is unable to find the boot sector of the hard drive or the bootable hard disk. Below we have mentioned some possible reasons for the error: Wrong boot order in BIOS. Hard disk connection problem. Outdated or misconfigured BIOS. Corrupted bootable disk. Damaged system files or boot files. Corrupted MBR/boot sector in the BIOS. SOLUTIONS Method 1: Change the Boot Order Ensure that the hard drive you boot from is the right disk. If you set to boot from an unbootable device, it won’t boot and may display the error message: “Boot Device Not Found. Please install an operating system to your hard disk”. In such a situation, you can change the boot order in BIOS and let it boot from the bootable device. To do so, follow the below-given steps: Restart the computer and then press the F10 key to enter the BIOS settings menu. After opening the BIOS, go to the boot settings. Notebook computers: Select Storage > Boot Options. Desktop computers: Select System Configuration > Boot Options. Proceed with the on-screen instructions to change the boot order. Method 2: Perform Hard Reset When you reset the device, it forces the system to clear and reestablish the software connections between the BIOS and the hardware. To perform a hard reset, follow the below-listed steps: Turn off the computer and remove it from any port replicator or docking station. Then, disconnect all external devices from your computer and unplug the AC adapter. Remove the battery as well.Press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds. Then, insert the battery and plug the AC adapter back into the computer. Note: Don’t connect any of the peripheral devices, such as USB storage devices, external displays, printers, etc. Now, turn on the computer. When the start menu opens, select Start Windows Normally with arrow keys and press Enter. Method 3: Restore BIOS to Default Settings It may happen that your system is configured to boot from an unbootable disk. In such a case, resetting your BIOS restores it to the last saved configuration. Follow these steps: Turn off the computer. Wait for at least 5 seconds and then restart the computer. Repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu. On the BIOS setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings. Press F10 to Save and Exit. Select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes. Then, follow the prompt to restart the computer. If the computer restarts normally, it means that issue is fixed. If it still displays the “boot device not found” error message, proceed to the next method. Method 4: Reconnect your Hard Drive Reconnecting the hard drive may also help you fix Boot Device Not Found 3F0 error. Follow the below steps: Turn off the computer.Remove the power cable and battery. Disconnect your hard drive and then connect it back.Reassemble your computer and turn it on to see if the error persists or not. We hope.one of these methods work out for you. Follow the following simple steps. (1) Turn off laptop and wait for it to shut down properly (2) Then press the "switch on button" and immediately start pressing the F10 button. This will take you to bios menu. (3) use the navigation buttons to navigate to boot menu (4) once on boot menu, locate legacy boot. There should be an option to toggle it ON or OFF. Toggle it to ON. (5) Then press F10 to save settings and exit. (6) Laptop will reboot. That should solve your problem. If not, your laptop HDD may have crashed as a result of an impact. 2 Likes |
