Arsenal’s pursuit of Gabriel Jesus is nearing completion, with reports stating that the Gunners have now agreed on personal terms with the Manchester City star. Mikel Arteta is edging closer to completing the transfer of his number one transfer target in Gabriel Jesus. The Gunners agreed to terms over the fee with Manchester City of £45 million a couple of days ago. It was thought that City wanted more than £60 million for the diminutive forward, but Arsenal seems to have negotiated the Premier League champions down. Per The Athletic and Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal has now agreed to personal terms with the 25-year-old. A five-year deal has reportedly been agreed upon as the process has accelerated immensely over the last few days. Mikel Arteta’s vision for the club is starting to becoming clearer. With FC Porto’s Fabio Vieira signed, goalkeeper Matt Turner nearing completion (waiting for the official announcement), and Marquinhos, Jesus will become the fourth player to come through the doors at the Emirates.
