They are not charging them based on that because the evidence may not be tenable. What they charged them for with evidence is simple:

With the weight of evidence, except if the charges are modified, chances of which are unlikely, then Ike would be advice by his team of lawyers to plea guilty. The judge would be appeal upon to consider on the fact that he's only trying to save his ailing daughter as a responsible father. He may be convicted with minimum sentence or option of fine. He may be ask to go and take care of the daughter, after which to come and serve the sentence. It is possible as week that he serves while the wife is allow to go and take care of the daughter.

You clearly do not know the evidence threshold that needs be met for each category before a judge can sign off on warrant of arrest let alone a remand.
You clearly dont know what it means be cross-examined under oath when a primary witness is testing against you.

The point you made is golden. In order for them to be arrested and denied bail, there was sufficient evidence with a good possibility of a conviction. They were also arrested at the airport, trying to catch a flight to Turkey which was probably for ill intent. Why wouldn’t they escort the boy back to Nigeria? Because they’re evil, thought they were above the law, and had ill intent to begin with.
These Nigerians really think that this boy actually obtained his passport and submitted his visa paperwork on his own when those of us with sense know that he probably was incapable, financially and otherwise, of doing so. The onus will be on the person who wrote the high commission and applied for the visa and we already know who that is. I wouldn’t be surprised if the person that Ike paid to falsify documents has already thrown him under the bus.
About a point you made earlier, I’m a lawyer and I wouldn’t waste time or money applying for a visa until I had tangible evidence (a signed and videotaped statement) from the person I intended on taking overseas. They both knew better they just thought that professionals in the UK were stupid. The doctor contacted the police and I am sure he had cause (beyond the boy’s statement) to do so.

These are some of the same people that claimed Hushpuppi would outsmart the justice system and walk out of prison here in the US with all of his stolen money. When he pled guilty, the armchair attorneys were silent. This is the same shit, different case.

Because he already paid someone at the agencies to falsify documents to support his lie, thinking that the UK courts will fall for it. He applied for the visa so he provided all the boy’s information to the embassy. The onus is on him.

Jail is not in the boy’s future. He isn’t the criminal here. He didn’t alert the police and lodge the claims, the hospital did and I’m sure that the doctor provided evidence far beyond the boy’s statement. Sane countries don’t lock people up over lies, they have strong evidence. They’ve been investigating since May, they have all the evidence they need.
