To weigh in, primary school certificate is not a prerequisite for admission into a university or college anywhere in the world, Nigeria inclusive.

In Nigeria WAEC GCE or SSCE coupled with jamb are the requirements but even then there is the IJMB, Diploma routes. Similar pathways exist in the USA and UK.

A Richard Daley College certificate would suffice as an entry qualification for university admissions.

These days some professionals such as those who wrote ACCA are given Bsc upon completion of a research project.
