Following Ameerah's conviction for inventing a fake kidnapping claim, Miss Ameerah Sufyan was given a 12-month psychiatric term by a Magistrate Court in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja.

On June 14th, Miss Sufyan reported via Twitter that she and 16 other people had been abducted by individuals dressed in military uniforms.

She should have been given communal labour to serve as open deterren to others and maybe a suspended 6-months imprisonment which should be attach to good conduct
