Former Kogi State senator, Dino Melaye has asked the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi to shelve his ambition to lead the country to a later date.

Melaye is a staunch ally and supporter of Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stated this in a 6 minutes video he posted on his facebook page on Friday.

According to him, Obi is a fantastic and good man, but he lacks what, he referred to as the capacity to unify Nigerians.

He argued that unity is more important than cutting cost of governance, which he claimed is the only campaign the LP presidential candidate is running.

He wrote to accompany his video, “Peter Obi is Fantastic and a good man but he lacks capacity to unify Nigerians. Unity more important than cutting cost of governance.”
