Ameduedwin: You dey mind Nigerian. We are our own problem. Are the leaders not also Nigerians. They also complained before ascending their office. Typical Nigerian go complain and rant in fact that the only thing we all have in common to complain about our leaders but if we enter there na the same thing we go do like the others. The blame should start from the hospital management, the LG chairman, what of the state government, the ministry of health and finally President. Government is local accountability should be demanded from the local people around you. How have they been performing? Or them too dey blame Oga? Until we change our mindset as individuals no matter who enter as president next year I don't see any improvement on this country. 1 Like |

When Jonathan understood that people with ambition could kills, could destroy and could do anything to achieve their ambition, Jonathan quickly hand over power to Buhari to fulfill his life long ambition. Buhari didn't come to serves Nigeria but on a mission to accomplished his ambition. that's why the country is not moving forward. While we were celebrating the "BEGINNING OF THE END THE DISASTER BUHARI HAS PUT US THROUGH", boooom! Another one appear. With no vision other than "it's my turn" "It's my lifelong ambition" Nigerian please we don't need to travel out this country to live a better life. We can fix this country with our vote and the right candidate Let be OBIDIENT God bless everyone on the mission to rescue our dear country from those outdated political rogues |

HilcomTech: Well, I don't like Saint Obi either, but visiitng Egypt which produces enough power, and even does so cheaply is not necessarily a bad idea. Though at the end, Egypt earns far more money than we do...their tourisim, gas and the Suez canal earn a lot of cash alone. We haven't talked about other sectors. |

Simeonjoe1: There's hope man..... At least let us vote someone that we are sure will not embezzle public funds but rather use it for public good That person is H.E, THE FORMER GOVERNOR OF ANAMBRA STATE, PETER OBI |

OyeofIkoTuN: That is a hospital under the federal government not state. Wike did well in regards the state hospital he rebuilt and over equipped the one at water lines then another one opposite PAMO he built new hospital facility there. So this one is duty of the Buhari led APC government that you voted into power that brought everThing working policies and parastatals to a stop. Even when Amaechi was Gov of rivers state under PDP he invested heavily in state public hospitals. All we need is a compassionate leader and for sure APC and PDP have failed to present us with such persons hence the reason we are following Peter Obi even if he contests with no running mate, Even if he go form new WAZOBIA party we go follow am go there. Suffer deh tire us and we are tired! 2 Likes |

“ A medical officer at the hospital who spoke to Standardobservers on the conditions of anonymity said among the dead babies were the twin babies of a woman who had been looking for the fruit of the womb for seven years. She said the woman gave birth last month but due to the premature nature of the delivery, they were put in an incubator”. What a country! What a shame! What a monumental failure. Shame on all the leaders of this country. |

Freebills12: It is not the blame needs to go round. Everybody deserves the blame even the doctors working there. Government is not exclusive to only a section even you yourself is part of the government. We dey see state wey dey donate heavy generators to teaching hospitals some dey donate ambulance and others. Watin Wike don do? If it's a recurrent situation can't the state government intervene? If you see your neighborhood fence dey bend and it's next to your house won't you help to repair? Abeg make we dey blame everybody 1 Like |

elsiusgr8t: Baba there's no hope anywhere. Peter Obi will not embezzle OK what of his ministers? What of those civil servants? What of that 9ja police at the road side? Or is he accountable for all of them? The corruption in the civil service na government we go blame? Baba forget all these talk I no see anything anybody fit do. No matter who enter next year our problem will still persist. Insecurities will still be there, there will still be deficiency in our infrastructure, food price will not reduce in fact e fit go up, petrol price will probably increase, even if the power supply will still be bad, it'll take more than 5yrs to fix any stable light supply for this country. You guys should better not get your hopes up and be disappointed as buhari disappoints his BMC. Na only ASUU strike next government fit fix the rest na autopilot. 1 Like |

If you check the fuel budget now you'll see its inflated Sack any CMD that's corrupt A simple solar system can ensure critical infrastructure like incubators and surgery theaters never run out of power. Even inverters can do that. If you check now all the ogas have new cars and their official houses have power. Nonsense |

odoemenacelevian: My Brother this story is not for politicking... I love Peter Obi as a candidate. But let's ask ourselves again and again... How and what are the measures to use to hold our leaders accountable few weeks and months into their tenure. I am no longer interested in the extraction leaders come from, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo... I am Igbo, I want Nigeria that is working... If Nigeria can't work, give me Biafra that works. Young people let's look beyond the politicking of old men. How do we ensure that this sad events don't keep recurring. |

HIPROFILE: Very well said. UPTH is a federal government owned hospital. We have a minister who is a medical doctor, but appears overwhelmed with labour matter. We have a health ministry and certainly a supervising ministry over the teaching hospitals, yet they are overwhelmed. Let’s join hands to get Peter Obi there. That’s the only hope Nigeria has. 1 Like |

Cantonese: And how would Peter Obi improve power supply, and health care funding? Keep in mind the same issues were there when he was a governor, and are still there now. Plus, we have a problem with power supply....it is charged at a cost below its cost of production, plus there are people who do not pay for power. These are serious questions, mind...and the same questions too go to tinubu, atiku and company. |

This is total fallacy. I work in the same hospital and this is a lie. If you are in Ph you can go to the hospital and verify. There is power outage, but no loss of lives in anyway near this magnitude. Every death can’t be attributed to power outage, people die everyday in hospitals. Federal government via the ministry of health needs to step in and solve the issue regarding the power outage. Pls stop spreading fake news, you can go to the hospital and ask the mothers in the mothers room whose baby are in SCBU to know the truth. 1 Like |
