Is this a sickness for the young people only?

Kidney failure, or kidney disease has now become a pandemic and a worry In Nigeria. Last year a friend of mine a young guy about 25 years went down with kidney failure and died 2 weeks later, my supervisor in school also had kidney failure and died. Last month a friend of mine too died from kidney, alot of celebrities have been down with kidney and some are dead. Most of the treatments are very expensive here in Nigeria and the operation is usually done abroad.

What really causes this kidney failure?

Is Kidney failure the new malaria? It seems people die more of kidney problems compared to malaria

Doctors in the house,

How can we avoid kidney failure.
What food causes this

Awareness is really important, you don't know who else may be a victim

What are the signs to look out for in early to avoid going down with this

Sissy3,
dominique

This has been going on for long but people don't bring it to the public. There are millions of cases like that but since we don't like visiting the clinic, we opt for trado-medical centers and tag the illness as spiritual or typhoid or whatever.

People are no more ashamed to tell the world about their ailments now, hence the reason we see such news popping up now.

the crazy part is, it's mostly young people now. People don't die of old age or natural death anymore

Young people have the highest population and it's no surprise. Also, young people are not conscious of their health and they live recklessly. Hard drugs, consumption of alcohol beyond limit is seen as a good life. You must also know that kidney failure has other causes.

No it is not the new malaria but it seems worse. for malaria you can use a net or insecticide but Kidney matter in this country, is deeper than that. Most people will start shouting STOP DRINKING AND SMOKING but there will still be problems even if the whole country does not drink and smoke. how many Nigerians can open the tap in their kitchen and drink the water there. How many even have tap in their kitchen?
All the food people eat outside, can you vouch for the water used?
then when you remember that we are in a country where STANDARDS ORGANIZATION OF NIGERIA and NAFDAC is just a matter of pay your cash and produce whatever you like that is why there is one million rubbish unchecked sachet or plastic bottle drinks coming out daily and we do not know the production ethics that was followed.
how about industry practice and occupational hazards? I entered a whole federal building a week ago and everywhere was smelling of paint. some guys were painting using spray gun and there was paint in the air making it even hard to see like harmattan. Yes this was during peak working hours. Now think about the thousands of people that work near paint and cement industries.

STANDARDS ORGANIZATION OF NIGERIA and NAFDAC will one day have to answer for all the backyard business they are doing with the breweries in Nigeria. what exactly is in the beer? we got to know there is Nicotine in cigarettes after heavy probing due to cigar related deaths but it will take another 100 years before we get to know what is the nicotine (that thing that makes a person crave alcohol) in beer. There are secrets and NAFDAC is helping the industry giants to hide them very well so more money can be made. no one really gives a shitt about who dies. it is all about the money.

All the bobo, chivita, hollandia and all the drinks that they tell us is 100% pure with no preservatives or additives. do you really believe that? You will be shocked to know that people drink these NON ALCOHOLIC drinks more than ALCOHOL. how? children drink them. and whatever is in those drinks have started having effects in young kidneys before they even turn 15. What are those kidney damaging secrets that Nigerian government is helping them hide?

Then the king of them all. DRUGS.
shoutout to all the All the Agbo sellers in the street selling this and that with no prescription or measurement.
all the fake doctors and nurses that have found a job in places that should help us heal rather than kill. Wrong treatments and silent overdoses.
all the fake drugs that NAFDAC has made ORIGINAL by NAFDAC certification which was achieved through bribes. The ones that don't settle the oga will end up destroyed on National TV for eye service.
All the self made doctors giving themselves tramadol, meth, molly and all the street designer drugs.

still thinking of malaria? even some NAFDAC APPROVED malaria drugs will shoot you straight to kidney failure.
