Tinubu made the best choice in Kashim Shettima - Adamu Garba

Adamu Garba, in his recent tweet, has revealed that the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, made the right choice by choosing a Muslim as his running mate. 
 
Sharing the tweet, Adamu Garba asked
Nigerians what they care about between Muslim-Muslim, Christian-Christian and Muslim-Christians, adding that they should keep sentimentalism aside. "
 
"Between Muslim-Muslim, Christian-Christian, Muslim-Christian or value-value; what do you care for?" "Let’s keep sentimentalism aside. I think Tinubu made the best choice with Kashim."

Yes nothing is wrong with the choice since he wish to loose massively in the south . Majority of Nigerians are now left with the choice of either voting ATiku or obi.

That's hypocritical. Would a Muslim keep sentiments aside & vote for a Christian-Christian ticket?
This will further divide the country along religious lines & cause more religious tensions & killings around the country. But the bat no care; his na-my-turn desperado ambition is worth more than the lives of innocent Nigerians.

Those crying about Tinubu’s choice are just hypocrites. They know it would be difficult for APC to win with a Northern Christian as Tinubu’s running mate. They simply wanted him to choose wrongly and he disappointed them. Even if Tinubu had selected the Pope, they still won’t vote for him.

Shettima is a great choice for VP. He’s well educated, very competent, loyal and someone with an eye for identifying talents like Tinubu. His choice of Zulum as his successor confirms the kind of person he is. I’m very confident in the ability of Tinubu/Shettima to reset the path of the country. I see development, progress and shared prosperity.

The current killing of Christians and attack on churches by Boko Haram, Bandits and ISWAP will become child's play when we now have Muslim President and Muslim Vice President.

It's a big problem for Tinubu. Settling for Muslim-Muslim portrays him as being in dire straights. It means he stands no chance with a Muslim-Christian ticket.

He's banking on liberal Southwest Christians to support him which will fail because of the type strong leadership figures like Oyedepo, Kumuyi, and Adeboye to mention a few.

Last time Abiola tried this, it didn't end well in general. Now Tinubu is daring to go where even Buhari dare not tread.

In 1993 when mko succeeded with it there was no iswap,there was no boko haram, there was no bandits killing everywhere, there wasn't the call for oduduwa republic, there want the call for biafra, the benue people werent murdered on a daily.

By chosing to run a Muslim-Muslim ticket in a country like Nigeria and at a time such as now, the one clear message the APC is sending to the Christian Community in Nigeria is; DO YOUR WORST! YOU DON'T COUNT!

Beyond this insult, the most imb£cilic set of idjiots are the people who, in a bid to protect their own intestinal interest, argue that a Muslim-Muslim ticket in a highly volatile multi-religious Nigeria, , doesn't matter as long as they are competent (As if there are no competent Christians in the North). If it doesn't matter, why did some people give that as a condition for supporting Tinubu who himself is a Muslim? This is the fuulish justification we were given when Buhari was filling all sensitive positions with only people from a particular region and religion. Today, how far?

And because for some of our Daddy G.O and Men of God, the bl00d of money appears ticker than the bl00d of Christ, this insult might be left unresponded to. Some of them may even find a way to justify this even if it means standing the Bible on its head like Pastor Poju did when he turned the definition of faith upside down in a desperate bid to disguise his support for Tinubu. Pa Adeboye will deliberately play the 'see no evil and hear no evil' card. Bakare will most definitely find a way to defend this as a way of paying back his debt to Tinubu. No surprise in his own case.

But I trust the irrepressible Bishops David Oyedepo and David Ibiyeomie. Those two have never been found wanting when it comes to defending the interests of their flock.

As for CAN, I want to believe they are preparing a ROBUST counter measure beyond mere rhetorics.

Oyedepo, Kumuyi and Adeboye will leave Tinubu and say Yorubas should vote Atiku or Obi ?

There should be a minimum IQ requirement for registering on Nairaland.

Tinubu will clear SW, lead in NE and divide NW if not outrightly win.

NC will be a swing region. He will lose SS reasonably but of course SE with a wide margin.

SE will be rocked with IPOB agitations so it's a negligible zone. Not of any importance. Anyone counting on votes from there is a big fool.

Conclusion- Tinubu is your next President. Whether you like it or not.

Northerners have picked their representative.

The North has rejected a Christian from representing them, Tinubu has little input in that. Just as Tinubu nominated Buhari's deputy Judas Osinbajo to represent the South without the input of the Northern politicians, so has the North nominated deputies for Tinubu to pick from. It's a loss for Northern Christians, not for Yorubas.
