Tinubu is a man for the job.

To start with Tinubi is 87 years old having been born in 1935. I'm sure you would not employ him as a bank manager, lecturer or supervisor in your company if you had one.

Besides, his grasp of economics is outdated. He recently said those who are not importers need not bother with the increase in the dollar naira rate because they'll be paid in naira....a statement that reflects macro economic and financial illiteracy.

If you add the fact of his drug case in the United States, controversy surrounding his educational qualification to mention a few, you'll agree that it'll be foolish to entrust the destiny of over 200 million Nigerians in his hands.

Real analysis doesn't just list capital or recurrent votes to MDAs and stop there. The focus should be on the development outcomes!!

This is the starting point. This is where it all begins.

On this very thread there is a lot of conjecture and assumption on all sides. Passing FOI legislation would clear up all that nonsense because access to information is the foundation on which real development stands.

But Lagos and its decision makers are allergic to transparency. So things will continue this way forever.

Lagos, anambra, kano, akwaibom, rivers, oyo, ogun to nasarawa, Benue, abia. Bayelsa, and Niger state.
The first ones are driven by infrastructure and have lesser security challenges compared to the second.
Talking about old age and sickness, yes its a point but being young doesn't makes one immune to sickness. Tinubu had a surgery recently and is still in the process of healing which is very human of him doesn't mean he ain't capable.. Joe Biden and Donald triumph are much older.
Despite his age and alleged sickness, he still defeated those much younger than him in the primaries through a smart moves and not physical strenght.
