SAVE EDUCATION

Many days spent at home than on campus.
The four walls gradually breaking down.
Our ivory towers now devoid of prestige.
Tomorrow's leaders on streets rather than classes.
Save education to guard the future.

Lavished meals abound on the national table.
Education starve in abysmal misery.
The ' bedrock ' can no more hold the national pillars.
Our land plunges into pitiable anarchy.
Save education to save the country.

Our Motherland weep for her neglected offsprings.
Comrades become weak to chant solidarity songs.
Political largesse overriding unions' demand.
Sumptuous policies signed on paper but deprived in schools.
Save education to foster growth.

"Graduate" is nothing but a mere nomenclature.
Bloody bandits honoured in great esteem than worthy intellectuals.
Cruel "dealers" (leaders) smiling home with booty bags.
Educationalists daily wallow in pangs and penury.
Save education for the unborn future.
