Global Development partners comprising members the diplomatic corps, heads of mission of some of the most progressive nations of the world, and foreign development partners from the United Nations, the IMF , World Bank, EU, WHO arrived Anambra aboard a chartered aircraft over the weekend on a working visit to the state.
The Governor of the state, Prof Chukwuma Soludo engaged them with a view to seeking their support in the areas of Security, Health, Agriculture, Erosion control, and infrastructural development.

The international guests also visited Okpoko, the largest slum in the state and some major erosion sites in the state and pledged to work with the governor towards effecting constructive solutions towards some of the state’s most pressing issues.
dignitaries at the ceremony in addition to the visiting delegation were chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance such as Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, members of the state executive, Human Rights leaders notably former NHRC boss Prof Chidi Odinkalu, state and National Assembly members, business leaders as well as traditional rulers from the state.
